Services offeredThis document provides an overview of the Exclusive Networks Monitoring Reporting and Alerting Service for firewalls (MARS).

MARS is a firewall service that provides additional functionality to existing traditional support contracts.

MARS provides our partners with the opportunity to enter into the MSSP market and grow revenues in this area without the costs and risks associated with investing in the people, processes and technology required to launch an MSSP offering.

The security of the network boundary is a core element of any IT strategy and as increasing demands are placed on system administrators and IT teams it is not always possible to acquire and maintain the skills necessary to keep on top of the integrity of the firewall.

In other cases, where there are in-house firewall technical resources, the firewall is monitored during business hours but out of hours there is no proactive coverage.

MARS provides a solution to both of these problems while also giving the comfort and confidence that your firewalls are being proactively observed by IT security experts partnering with the customer’s IT team and business.

The service comes in two levels MARS and MARS+.

MARS MARS+

MARS is the ideal firewall management solution for any organisation. It provides full monitoring, alerting and reporting services and a firewall backup and secure backup storage service with a number of firewall rule and configuration changes per month in line with your requirements.

MARS is also perfect for organisations who may have a technical team looking after the firewall but would benefit from proactive monitoring and alerting, particularly out of hours, plus expert support on a few firewall changes.

MARS+ provides all the benefits of MARS with three key additions.

Double the amount of changes

One firewall upgrade per year – verified and completed by our Professional Services Team

An annual firewall review and report conducted by a certified and experienced firewall consultant

Finally if 12 or 24 Changes are insufficient additional changes can be purchased in packs of 12 or 24.

Assumptions & Prerequisites Firewall is in a production ready state with no issues at time of onboarding to MARS

Firewall is running an OS supported by MARS

Necessary networking and credential access will be given to MARS

General Terms & ConditionsA MARS package must be purchased for each Firewall or HA pair/Cluster.

MARS change allocation cannot be aggregated across multiple firewalls.

Annual change allocation is apportioned on a quarterly basis. Any unused changes will not rollover to the next quarter.

Changes are performed Monday – Friday 09:00-17:00 on a SLA of 2 business days.
