ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

In the 21st century, in order to have sustainable competitive

advantage in the globalized economy, the stakeholders are expected

to upgrade their basic skills for doing international business. India is

fast emerging in the world economy and would become a key player

in the international business market. In this arena, the export-import

procedures and forex mechanism play an important role to facilitate

the business.

With this background, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur is

organizing its 3rd National Level Workshop on Export- Import and

Forex Mechanism to have an overview and effective understanding

of operational aspects of export-import and forex mechanism which

are the basic fundamentals of international business and banking.

Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur, payable at Jaipur

REGISTRATION

The participant fee includes study material, lunch, tea, snacks

and other expenses. The participants would make their own

arrangements for their conveyance and accommodation.

However, for outside participants, hostel arrangements on

payment basis may be arranged by the Institute.

Thought Lecture Series with an aim to bring together valuable

thoughts, insights and experiences of top leaders from policy

makers, corporates, Industry, and Academia and also for

young managers of today and tomorrow. This is what

differentiates Jaipuria from other institutions.

Dr. Rajiv R Thakur, Director of Jaipuria Institute of Management,

Jaipur, is a Ph.D. and Post-Graduate in Economics and MBA

from IIT-Delhi. He has worked as Professor of Strategic

Management and International Business Strategy at Institute

of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad and Director at

AKGIM, Ghaziabad. Prior to his joining academics, Dr. Thakur

worked with the media industry for over 10 years and was

associated with one of India’s leading media conglomerate in

senior managerial position. He has been actively involved in

MDP, research and has published research papers in

international/national journals and international conferences.

Dr. Thakur has extensive international exposure working on

several international assignments across the globe.

Dr. J.D. Singh, an academics and management expert of

international repute in the field of marketing and economics is

the Director General of Jaipuria Group of Management

Institutes.
