Columbus Marathon
When: Sun Oct 21 6:15-10:30amWhere: Ohio Federation of Teachers, 1251 E. Broad St. This is
shortly after mile 7 of the course. Please note that there is no parking allowed on the course that morning.
What to wear: Comfortable clothing- we'll be out hydrating and cheering on the athletes no matter what the conditions are. Registered volunteers will receive a long-sleeved technical shirt to wear on race day so they are identifiable by the athletes.
What to bring: Some pitchers to help pour water, if you have them. Same rule goes for rakes, brooms, or snow blowers to help with clean-up. The marathon will be providing gloves that must be worn while distributing water.
HOW TO REGISTER: Note that it is required for all volunteers to be registered online. Please register at http://www.columbusmarathon.com/volunteer and make sure you sign up for Water Stop F under the heading "Aid Stations."
