As the fall season rolls around it’s time for our Associational Annual Meetings! Our practice of inviting our ministry partners to showcase opportu-
nities for service will again be offered and celebrated by our local associations. The different entities have agreed to set up a display to express their gratitude to you personally and to tell you about their work. You will be able to observe first-hand the work of our sister associational churches, local ministries, state convention, and others. Please make every effort to attend and bring others with you.
The Ministry Fair will be followed by a brief time of business to elect new officers, vote on the proposed annual budgets, and other miscellaneous business items. All are encouraged to attend the business session; however, each church should elect messengers to vote in the business portion of our meetings.
The Annual Meetings will conclude with a joyful time of worship and fellowship. Keith Manuel, evangelism associate for Louisiana Baptists, will be our preacher for the Northeast meeting and Richard Gambill, pastor of First, Bastrop will preach at the Morehouse meeting. I am anticipating a special word from the Lord as He fills these choice servants with inspirational and challenging messages to lead us into 2017 and beyond. Times and locations for the Annual Meetings are listed on the front of this newsletter. Please plan to join us and celebrate all that God is doing in Northeast Louisiana and Morehouse Baptist Associations! I look forward to seeing you at the Annual Meetings on October 3 and 24!
