K-6W News
On Tuesday last week K-6W travelled to the Bathurst Goldfields. The students participated in a range of activities including making damper sticks, building mud bricks, visiting a gold museum and panning for gold. Panning for gold was the students favourite activity with a few excited 'Eurekas' being shouted as they found some specks of gold.
Luke Jones from NorthParkes Mines was also a visitor in our class last week. He explained to the students about working underground in the mine. The children thoroughly enjoyed his visit.
