• Provides information on location, status, threats and management of coral reefs in over 130 countries and territories

• Houses >26,000 References, including >6,000 downloadable publications

• Thematic data includes coral bleaching, monitoring sites, Marine Protected Areas, etc.

Project), funded by NASA.


ReefBase: NOAA DHWMonthly updated maps from NOAA showing sea surface

temperature anomalies, together with coral bleaching observations (linked to sea water temperature).

Works as an early warning system.
