IMPORTANT POINTS: Capstone Project, Dissertations, and similar courses Introduction: The End Tem Practical (ETP) evaluation for courses with (LTP=000) is done via a panel evaluation process based on pre-defined evaluation parameters as per respective guidelines applicable for a given course code. For Capstone Project: Students registered in Capstone Project or similar courses are evaluated in groups. An individual student’s ETP evaluation is done within his/her group with all of the group members present at once. Due consideration is given to the specialization area of the project wherever applicable. For Dissertation-I & II: Students registered in dissertations are evaluated individually based on their specialization area and its closest map within a Parent Domain in LPU. Therefore, an ETP Panel is chosen based on their specialized area of expertise, whether in teaching/industry experience or educational qualification. 1. Evaluation Process and Duration a. ETP Evaluation Process i. All students are expected to reach the ETP Evaluation room on time and make a presentation of their work in-front of the ETP panel in a formal attire. All hard-copy report copies needs to be hard bound, neatly printed and brought to the ETP viva by the student and presented before the evaluation panel along-with student presentation using projector or work demonstration. iii. It is ensured by the ETP panel members that a particular student/group completes their presentation as per prescribed time and leave enough time for a Q&A session. b.
