MOHAMMAD PBUH IS PRAISED IN THEBIBLE

God has sent Messengers over Messengers to warn people against themisleading of Satan. Messengers like Noah (PBUH) preached peopleover 900 years, still when the order of destruction from God came andNoah prepared the boat, there were only few who left there homes andtraveled with him. We see the same situation even in the time ofMoses PBUH when he reached at mountain of the Amorites and askedhis people to enter and get the place which God has promised and theydenied:

Notwithstanding ye would not go up, but rebelled against thecommandment of the LORD your God:

Yet in this thing ye did not believe the LORD your God(Deuteronomy 1:26 & 32)

From the Bible we come to know that Jews were habitual of breakingcommandments by God and Moses. So God finally decided tosubstitute them.

JEWS SUBSTITUTED BY ANOTHER NATION

They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God;they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will

move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I willprovoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

(Deuteronomy 32:21)

This is very simple that God being fade up with Jews, has planned tochoose another nation on earth to be His people, who follow Gods

commandments and glorify Him only. Without giving a second thoughtit is clear from the above verse Jews will be substituted sooner or later,as, God has become jealous because Jews has chosen other godsleaving their Lord, so the revenge of this could only be that God chooseother people leaving Jews to move them to jealousy.

However, their trend did not change even in the time of Jesus Christ, asJesus say:

But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterousgeneration seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be

given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:(Mathew 12:39)

PLAN OF GOD

God has planned the substitute in the very early ages, as He very knew

the attitude of Jews, He is All-Knowing. The Bible tells us the about thenation He had chosen already:

And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed

him, and will make himfruitful, and will multiplyhimexceedingly; twelve princes shallhe beget, and I will

make hima great nation.(Genesis 17:20)

God commanded Abraham to leave his town with Hagar and Ismael

and leave them into a desert, which God shall guide. God says:

The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your peopleand your father's household andgo to the landI will show you.

I will make you into a great nationand I will bless you; I willmake your name great, and you will be a blessing.

I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I willcurse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

(Genesis 12:1)

God has promised Abraham that He will raise a great nation from hisson Ismael, and we know that Ismael was settled in Arabia and thenation finally formed from him is the Muslims. Lets not get finishedhere; we have to argue on it for the satisfaction of our Christianbrothers. In these few verses of Genesis, God has given manyprophesies which we will discuss below.

THE PROPHESIES

BEING FRUITFUL

There are three major signs to identify that blessed one whom God hasplanned to make a great nation.

On the continuous rebel of Jews, when Jesus gave them a final warninghe utters the plan of God and gives a sign to identify that substitute.

Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken

from you, and given to a nationbringing forth thefruits thereof.

(Mathew 21:43)

As quoted earlier, God promises Abraham that He will makeIshmael fruitful in Genesis 17:20. However, Bible does nothave any record that the generations of Isaac will also befruitful.Fruitful means Profitable in Oxford dictionary, which meansthat this blessed one will be profitable for people, thinking for thebetterment of nation, guiding them to right way, never wantsdestruction of his people and these are all attributes of Prophets,because they spend their lives for this purpose. In the children ofIsmael, Mohammad PBUH is the only person who spent his lifefollowing the above mentioned attributes and this is believed by

Christians as well. George Sale in his The original impartial justice:says:

"Muhammad gave his Arabs the best religion, as well as thebest laws"

Again we dont have to think about Israelite Prophets because thisprophesy is only related with the children of Ismael, not Isaac. AlsoMohammad PBUH fulfils the remaining prophesy that his people orhis nation will be multiplied exceedingly and it is historically provedthat Mohammad PBUH found a great nation. At the time of Carlyle inthe nineteenth century, European historian Johann Doellinger asserted:

"No other mortal has ever, from the beginning of the world,exercised such an immeasurable influence upon the religious,

moral, and political relations of mankind, as has the ArabMuhammad."

MULTIPLY EXCEEDINGLY

On the study of Bible and other historical evidences we come to knowthat the descendants of Isaac has reached up to 17 generations till thebirth of Jesus Christ. However, it has been recorded that MohammadPBUH is the 61st generation of Ishmael. Hence it is proved that thegenerations of Ishmael have been multiplied exceedingly. So theprophesy has again nothing to do with Isaac and Israelites.

TWELVE PRINCES

Again the Bible is very clear regarding the sons of Isaac and Ishmael.

Isaac had two sons Esau and Jacob, while Ishmael had twelve sons justaccording to the prophesy.

Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son,whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare unto

Abraham: And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, bytheir names, according to their generations: the firstborn ofIshmael, Nebajoth; andKedar, andAdbeel, andMibsam, And

Mishma, andDumah, andMassa, Hadar, andTema,Jetur,Naphish, andKedemah: These are the sons of Ishmael, and

these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles;twelve princes according to their nations.

(Genesis 25:12-16)

A GREAT NATION

We know from the history and the Bible that Israelites were cursed tohave no land after they denied entering the Promised Land. Since thenthey have been moving around the world to make a kingdom of their

own and we know that they have been failing to do so till today.Furthermore, we have been told a sign in the Bible to identify thatgreat nation:

"What othernation is so greatas to have their gods near them theway the LORD our God is near us whenever we pray to him? And what

other nation is so great as to have such righteous decrees andlaws as this body of laws I am setting before you today?

(Deuteronomy 4:7-8)

It means that the person who will form this great nation will set a greatlaw amongst the people. As I have already quoted above,George Salein his The original impartial justice: says:

"Muhammad gave his Arabs the best religion, as well as thebest laws"

Lets have a look that what historians comment about MohammadPBUH.

1. Muhammad was the soul of kindness, and his influence was felt

and never forgotten by those around him.(A Hindu scholar Diwan Chand Sharma in his The Prophets of the East,Calcutta 1935, p.122.)

2. Four years after the death of Justinian, A.D. 569, was born atmakkah, in Arabia the man who, of all men exercised theGreatest Influence upon the Human Race. Mohammed..(John William Draper, M.D., LLD., in his A History of the IntellectualDevelopment of Europe, London 1875.)

3. I Doubt whether any man whose external conditions changed somuch ever changed himself less to meet them.(R.V.C Bodley in The Messenger, London 1946, p,9.)

4. By a fortune absolutely unique in history, Mohammed isa threefold founder of a Nation, of an empire, and of areligion.(R.Bosworth-Smith in Mohammed and Mohammedanism, 1946).

5. Mohammed was the most successful of all religiouspersonalities. (Encyclopedia Britannica, 11th Edition)

It is clear from the discussion made above that Isaac did not beget thenation whom we can conveniently call GREAT. Rather we have on ourrecord now that Ishmael had fulfilled all prophesies along with theformation of a great nation having a great leader Mohammad PBUH.

ISAAC X X X XISHMAEL

The chart gives us a vivid idea that the prophesies of Genesis areundoubtedly relate to Ishmael and the historians record that

Mohammad PBUH is the only person who formed a nation based oncertain laws and principles, like R. Bosworth-Smith says thatMohammad PBUH is a threefold founder of a nation, of an empire andof a religion (that is ISLAM).

Bible also confirms that the leader or the prophet will be a NonJew;

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom mysoul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring

forth judgment to the GENTILES(Isaiah 42:1)

We find Mohammad PBUH, the only man in the history that came tolead people to the path of God and formed a nation based on thedivine laws and judgment, just as mentioned in the above verse of theBible. Mohammad PBUH is the only way now to have salvation andeternal life and Bible very strictly says to accept this prophet:

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearkenunto my words which he (that Gentile Prophet) shall speak in

my name, I will require it of him.Deuteronomy 18:19
