Working as part of a team of the Finance & Administration Unit ; My responsibility to ensure of the Finance; Procurement & Store procedures in addition the coordination with the Partnership unit to prepare the budgets for the proposed donors.

Responsibilities and achievements:

Understand and follow the accounting and the operational policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.

Monitor the implementation and adequacy of accounting control procedures. Ensure financial reporting deadlines are met. Monitor Grant Program spending and submit progressive reports

(Financial reports, Effort reports, and Match (In-Kind) reports). Submit financial reports to the CFO as requested. Responsible for accounting entries, month-end reconciliations, ensure accuracy

and compliance with the established INJAZ policies and procedures and accounting principles.

Participate in the staff monthly payroll Preparations -in cooperation with the Hr Coordinator including tax, social security deduction and comply with the related regulatory bodies.

Validate the accounting transactions and ensure that all transactions are supported with reliable documentation and posted to the system.

Responsible for the movement of safe contents and reviews the log (Cheques, fuel coupons, prepaid coupons, vehicle keys, office keys, back-tape/disks, etc.).

Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close. Analyze and resolve any accounting discrepancies and irregularities. Assist the CFO in preparing INJAZ annual budget. Assist the CFO in preparing budget reforecast and revision by analyzing budget

line items.

Analyze and document budget variances on a periodic basis to ensure compliance with USAID regulations.

Assist in producing budget projections to fundraising proposals. Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of INJAZ units spending. Analyze financial information to recommend development of efficient use of

resources and procedures. Carry out regular visits to INJAZ offices outside Amman to ensure financial

compliance. Participate in internal meetings as assigned or requested. Facilitate the annual audit activities with external auditors by coordinating

provision of information required, clarifications required etc to ensure that the execution of the year-end audit package is accurate and complete.

Understand and follow the operational policies, procedures, guidelines and ensure compliance with ISO procedures.

Support and assist in reviewing request for services for INJAZ events and develop purchase orders for required items.

Monitor procurement activities. Manage administrative activities such as making local travel arrangements for

staff and organizing the transportation daily schedule in cooperation with the logistic Officer.

Support all INJAZ units as needed. Review, update and monitor all leases, contracts and MOUs. Manage all matters related to office facilities including their maintenance, and

procurement such as furniture, office supplies, telephones and communications, photocopiers and meeting rooms.Support in processing all purchase requisitions (request for services) raised by concerned units regarding supplies or any other requested items after the concerned unit head approval.
