The ESP Emerging Leaders Academy (ESP-ELA) is a training designed to prepare ESP members to become effective leaders. This program will give participants the skills, knowledge and resources needed to become strong union activist at the local, state and national level.
Why ESP-ELA? ESPs are the fastest growing membership category at the state and national level. ESPs often have the most contact with other staff, administration and students. ESPs frequently live in the community in which they work which gives them the opportunity to connect to a diverse group of people.
The ESP-ELA will give emerging ESP leaders the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to empower them to have a greater voice in public education.
