AL Slaves Story(A bdul)

Everyone loves chocolate, and chocolate is the reason for many people·s

enslavement. Abdul has survived 3 years of slavery work in the cocoa farms.

He is only 10 years old. He does not earn wages from his working just

occasional tips from the owner which is food. He has never tasted chocolate,he doesn·t even know what the cocoa is used for. Kids from the farm wish

they could go to school, but most of them never spent a day at school

before. 200,000 children work on cocoa farms across Ivory Coast. Most

engaged on the worst form of child labour, many trafficked across borders.
