Lenco suggests retaining the packaging in case for future transport of the product.

If at any time in the future you should need to dispose of this product please note that: All batteries

and accumulators need to be removed from this product (Removal of Waste Batteries and

Accumulators).

WARNING: Prolonged exposure to loud sounds from personal music players may lead to

temporary or permanent hearing loss.

WARNING: When participating in the traffic listening to a personal music player

can make the listener less aware of potential dangers such as approaching cars.

A. Basic controls and interfaces of the player

B. Internal Battery

The player has an internal battery. When using the unit for the first time, charge it for 3 - 4

hours or until the battery icon is show the battery is in full.

Battery Is In Full

Note: Player continues to use battery power after it’s been turned off, if unit isn’t used for a while, the battery might need to be charged. Recharging the player at least 2 – 3 times in three months for maintain the battery life and performance.

1. Charging the battery:

You can charge the device battery in two ways:

• Connect device to your computer.

• Use the USB power charger. (not included)

2. Connection and Charging

• Once you have connected player with the computer, then you will see the “Opening” >

“Connection Select Screen” appear to use. The connection will go into “Power & Data”

mode automatically, as system defaulted, if you do not tap any selection on this screen in 6

seconds.

• Tap “Power & Data / USB Charge / Charge & Play Screen” icon to enter the type of

connection as you desired. (Choose “Power & Data” if you use this play at first time)

• Choose “Power & Data” mode to enter to USB Mass Storage Device mode to upload and

download the media files with you computer, a “Connection” screen is appear, besides the

battery is in charging at background. Safely remove hardware and disconnecting when it is

done.

• Choose “USB Charge” mode to enter the charging mode only; the “USB Charging” screen

will appear, the battery level bar is running, battery is in charging. The battery icon will show

“Full” when the charging is completed; disconnect it when it is done. However, tap icon

and slide to the right to unlock and enter to desktop menu (application mode) if you want.

• Choose “Charge & Play” mode to enter to play mode and the battery is in charging at the

background. The USB Mass Storage Device mode cannot be detected in this mode.

Battery Charging

Important: The battery cannot be charged when your computer is in sleep mode. The USB port on

most keyboards does not provide enough power to charge the player. Connect player direct to a

USB port on your computer only to prevent charging problem.

C. Connecting and disconnecting the player

Connect the player to your computer to upload media files to your player; or to download

recorded voice memos to your computer.

1. Connecting the player

• Plug the USB cable to the Player’s mini USB port and into a USB port on your computer, a

dialog box appear; tap “Power & Data” when you use the player at first time, then the

computer will detect and install the driver automatically. Once the installation is complete the

player will be displayed in “My Computer” or for MAC users on the desktop.

• Now the player is ready for media files upload / download with your computer.

• Transfer the media files by using the computer mouse use drag and place, or copy and paste, in

between the player and your computer. Disconnect it when you’re done.

2. Disconnecting the player

• Do not disconnect the player while it’s uploading or downloading files with your computer.

• For Windows system PC, disconnect the player by clicking the “Safely Remove Hardware”

icon in the Windows system tray.

• For Mac system PC, disconnect the player by dragging the player icon on the desktop to the

Trash.

• Now it is safe to unplug the USB cable.

Note: If you do not “Safely remove hardware” before disconnecting, data can be lost!

D. File Storage

Player will create some default folders, in the Player’s Internal Memory, when you use it.

However, for best result, this is recommended you to put files of different types to store under

different directories.

For example, music files should be stored under MUSIC directory. Record files stored under

RECORD directory. Photo files under PICTURES directory. Video files under VIDEO directory.

Text files under EBOOK directory…etc. The corresponding application may unable to find the file

If it is not saved in this way.

Note: If no external memory card plugged in, it shows Internal Memory only, which includes

EBOOK, FLASH, MUSIC, PICTURES, RECORD, SYSTEM, VIDEO and other files. All the files

under the folder will be listed. Operations of external “Card Memory” are the same as “Internal

Memory”.

E. Getting Started

This player is equipped with a touch screen so you can choose the items or functions by

tapping the related icons or files.

1. Turning the player ON and OFF

• Slide th*e “Main Power Switch” to “ON” from “OFF” position. Then,

• Press and Hold the “EXIT” button to turn ON and OFF the player.

• Slide the “Main Power Switch” to “OFF” from “ON” when you’re not uses it for a longer

period.

2. Dark Screen Mode and Touch Screen Lock

• When the display setting, in Setting Menu, is set to power save mode and the device is in idle

control, the display will go into dark mode and the touch screen function will lock

automatically,

• In display dark mode, Press “EXIT” button to call up the “Locked” screen from dark mode (as

shown below), and then tap icon and slide to down to unlock and go to desktop menu for

use applications.

• The player will go to dark screen and screen lock mode again when the device is in idle control

again.

F. Desktop Menu

Every time you turn on the player, you will see the opening screen followed by the desktop

menu which contains applications of your player. Tap one of the icons to enter the related

application.

Note: In most of the menu and interface screen, you can direct return to desktop menu by Press

“EXIT” Button, otherwise press or “Back” icon if existed. This is shortcut function provided

by the player.

G. Music

• Tap the “Music” icon to enter the music mode menu, a “All Music” list screen appear to

select:

• Tap a file name to start the play and the screen will switch to Music Control Interface; the

Music Progress Tool will appear at the same time. The Music Progress Tool will get concealed

after 10 seconds, and it will appear again when you tapping the area where it displays.

• Tap icon to return to the previous menu, or return to desktop menu from root directory.

Or, Press “Menu” Button.

1. Play / Pause Music File

• To play music, tap / icon to switch between play and pause.

2. Change Next / Previous and Fast-Forward / Fast Backward

• Tap icon to play next file.

• Tap icon to play previous file.

• Tap and hold icon to play fast-forward.

• Tap and hold icon to play fast-backward.

3. Change Volume

• Tap and drag icon left / right at volume bar to adjust the volume levels.

For hearing protection; a display warning pop-up on TFT screen, when every time you increase the

volume level and reach to the default setting level which may exceed 85dB. Press button to

accept the warning and enter into the volume control for increase the level and until to maximum

level.

4. Background Playback:

• Music will play in background when is pressed during the now playing process; most

applications that are compatible with music now playing can be operated except Video, Flash

Game, and FM radio.

5. Display Mode (Album Display / Lyrics Display / Spectrum View)

• To set display mode on music playback interface, tap “Spectrum / Lyric / Album Display”

area. Tap here to shift among the Spectrum, Lyrics (if available) and Album (if available).

6. Use Music Tool Bar

You can switch between “Now Playing / All Music / Artist / Album / Genre menu / My

Music List / Directory Browse / Record List / Tag List”.

• Tap on the music tool bar and drag to the right and left you will see more icon function in the

music tool bar.

• Tap any one of them to enter the related function as you want:

• icon: Now playing; Tap this icon to enter the music “Now Playing” list screen, you can

view where the current play music file and the icon is marked at behind the current playing

music file. Or, tap the file name to change other music to play.

• To go the music Now Playing list screen tap icon from the Music Control Interface and

then tap icon in Music Tool Bar.

• icon: All Music; tap this icon to enter the All Music List Screen, you will see all the

music files stored under Music Directory in the player’s “Internal Memory” by default.

• icon: Artist; tap this icon to list out all the music by artists.

• icon: Album; tap this icon to list out all the music by album.

• icon: Genre; tap this icon to list out all the music by genre.

• icon: My Music List; totally five lists available; the user can classify the music as you

desired. Add music onto list in Music Setting Menu before you can use it.

• icon: Directory Browse; tap this icon to enter the Directory Browse mode, then you will

see a directory list appear to select; Choose “Internal Memory” or “Card Memory” as you

desired.

• Choose “Internal Memory” to lists out all music files, by defaulted Music folder/file, in the

player, and then tap a file name to start the play as desired.

• Choose “Card Memory” to lists all folders/files and then choose a folder which contains

music files, and then tap a file name to start the play as desired. The list of “Internal

Memory” and “Card Memory” will not be displayed if no card has inserted.

• icon: Record File; tap this icon to list all FM and voice record files and then tap a file

name to start the play as desired.

• icon: Tag List; tap this icon to list all the music tag set by user, and then tap a file name

to start the play as desired. (support up to 32 tag lists)

7. Delete Folder / File from List (All Music / My Music / Tag List / Directory Browse List)

• In the specified lists screen, tap on the screen and drag from right to left, upon which icon

appears; tap one folder or file name, a confirmation dialog box is appear, then tap “OK” to

confirm and the selected folder / file will be deleted. Or, tap “Cancel” to exit.

• To exit from delete, tap on the screen and drag from left to right, the icon will disappear.

H. Use Music Progress Tool

When each time goes into the Music Control Interface, the Music Progress Tool will appear at

the same time. Then the Music Progress Tool will get concealed after 10 seconds; and it will appear

again when you tapping the area where it displays.

1. Play Mode

• Tap “Repeat” icon to switch between “Sequence / Repeat One / Repeat All / Shuffle /

Shuffle + Repeat” as you desired.

2. Select EQ:

• Tap “EQ” icon to switch between “Normal / Rock / Pop / Classic / Soft / Jazz / DBB” as you

desired.

3. Quick to Progress Time

• Tap and drag icon left / right at progress bar to adjust the progress time where you want it

to go.

4. A - B Repeat Select

• During music playing, tap icon to select point A where to start, the icon will

highlighted to be shown, which indicating point A (the time point of now playing music)

is confirmed.

• And then tap again to select point B where to end and the icon will highlighted

to be show, which indicating point B is confirmed and The A-B repeat starts.

• If icon is tap, the repeat icon will change back into be shown, which means A-

B repeat is cancelled.

I. Use Music Setting Menu

In Music Control interface, click to enter the music setting menu, the options include:

<Variable Speed Playback>, <Add Tag>, <Delete>, <Information>, <Add to My Play List>,

<Advanced>, <Back>.

Note: Tap the option list and drag up / down to switch page if it available.

• Choose “Variable Speed Playback” to adjust music playback speed “-4X to 4X”. (For MP3

format only)

• Tap “Add Tag” the current music and its current time point will add to tag list, then it returns

to Music Control Interface. You will find the music in the corresponding tag in Tag List.

• Choose “Delete” to delete the current music from the player, choose “OK” to confirm or

choose “Cancel” to exit.

• Choose “Information” to display the detailed information of the current music. As such; Title,

Album, Artist, Genre info…etc.

• Choose “Add to My Play List” to add the current playing music to one of My Music List 1- 5,

a file can be added to more than one list. Now the current playing music has been added to the

list and you may find the music in the corresponding list in <My Music List>.

• Choose “Advanced Setting” to setup the setting of “Repeat Times / Repeat gap/ Fade

In-Out”:

• Choose “Repeat Times” and tap and drag left / right at the value bar to set value “1 – 10,

or Infinite” as you desired.

• Choose “Repeat gap” and tap and drag left / right at the value bar to setup rang from “1 -

7 seconds” as you desired.

• Choose “Fade In/Out” and tap the “ON/OFF” icon and drag to “ON” or “OFF” position to

turn On / Off the Fade In/Out function as you desired.

• Choose “Back” to return to previous menu from all option lists.

• Tap icon to return to previous directory, or return to desktop menu from root directory.

Or, press “MENU” button

J. Photo

• Tap “Photo” icon in desktop menu to enter to Photo Mode Menu, an All Photos List screen is

appears to use.

• Tap icon to return to previous directory, or return to desktop menu from root directory.

Or, Press “MENU” button

1. Play Photo

• In All Photo List Screen, tap a photo file to start the play, the screen will switch to Photo

Browsing Screen; the Photo Control Tool will appear at same time. The Photo Control Tool

will get concealed after 6 seconds, and it will appear again when you tapping the area where it

displays.

2. Play Next / Previous

• Tap the screen and slide left to play next p file.

• Tap the screen and slide right to play previous photo file.

3. Photo Play Mode Menu

• Tap / / icon to switch between Photo Play Mode Menu to “List Mode /

Thumbnail Mode / Slide Mode” which are shown as follows:

Tap the screen and drag up or down

to change page, if available, in List

Mode.

Tap a file name to play the desired.

down to change page, if available, in

Thumbnail Mode.

Tap a thumbnail to play the desired.

Slide Mode

Tap the thumbnail list and drag left

or right to sliding the thumbnail list

to left or right. Tap a thumbnail to

view as desired. Tap on the large

photo will switch to Photo Browsing

Screen.

4. Use Photo Tool Bar

You can switch between “Now Viewing / All Photos / Directory Browse”.

• Tap any one of them at Photo Tool Bar to enter the related function as you want:

• icon: Now Browsing; Tap this icon to enter the Now Browsing Screen, tap the file name

to select one and start to play. The screen will switch to Photo Browsing Screen and the

selected music is start playing.

• icon: All Photos; tap this icon to enter the All Photos List Screen, you will see all the

photo files stored under Photos Directory in the player’s “Internal Memory”. (by default)

• icon: Directory Browse; tap this icon to enter the directory browse mode, then you will

see directory list appear to select. Choose “Internal Memory” or “Card Memory” as you

desired.

• Choose “Internal Memory” to lists out all photo files, by defaulted photos folder/file, in the

player.

• Choose “Card Memory” to lists all folders/files and then choose a folder which contains

photo files, and then tap a file name to start the play. The list of “Internal Memory” and

“Card Memory” will not be displayed if no card has inserted.

5. Use Photo Browsing Settings

• Tap icon to enter the photo browsing settings, options include <Slide Effect>, <Delete>,

<Information>, <Screen Size>, <Back>

• Choose “Slide Effect” to set options for photo playback; Choose “Move Page / Louver /

Fade Display” as you desired.

• Choose “Delete” to delete the current photo from the player, choose “OK” to confirm or

choose “Cancel” to exit.

• Choose “Information” to display the detailed information of the current photo. As such; Photo

Name, Resolution, Created Date.

• Choose “Screen Size” to set options “Full Screen / Original Size / Scale” as you desired.

• Choose “Back” to return to previous menu.

6. Use Photo Browsing Tool Bar

• Tap / icon to switch between “Manual / Auto” Playing:

• Tap icon to select “Manual Playing”, tap and slide the current photo to left / right to

display the next / previous photo file in manual mode.

• Tap icon to select “Auto playing”, the photo files will playing as slide show. The

icon will appear in photo browsing tool bar when auto play is activated. Tap icon to

select the slide interval “ 1 / 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 (seconds)” as you want.

• Tap icon to rotate the browsing photo, options for rotation: 90° / 180° / 270° clockwise.

** it only work when manual playing

7. Scale Bar (Zoom In / Out)

• Tap and drag up / down at the Scale Bar, on the right side, to zoom in / out the photo.

When the photo is zoomed in, you can drag it up / down / left / right to correspondingly.

• Tap icon to exit from scale mode directly.

Note: the previous or next file cannot be selected when in Zoom-In state.

K. Video

• Tap “Video” icon in desktop menu to enter to Video Mode Menu, an All Videos List Menu is

appears to select:

• Tap a file name to play desired, the screen will switch to Video Browsing Interface.

• Tap icon to return to the previous directory, or return to desktop menu from root

directory. Or, Press ”MENU” button

1. Use Video Tool Bar

• : Now Playing; tap this icon to enter the video Now Playing List Menu, you can view

where the current play video file. Or, tap the file name to change other video to play. You will

see the icon is marked at behind the current playing video file when you go back to the

video Now Playing List Menu by tap icon from the Video Browsing Interface.

• : All Videos; tap this icon to enter the All Videos List Menu, you will see all the video

files stored under Video Directory in the player’s “Internal Memory” by default.

• : Directory Browse; tap this icon to enter the Directory Browse mode, then you will see a

directory list appear to select; Choose “Internal Memory” or “Card Memory” as you

desired.

• Choose “Internal Memory” to lists out all video files, by defaulted Video folder or file, in the

player, and then tap a file name to start the play as desired.

• Choose “Card Memory” to lists all folders/files and then choose a folder which contains

video files, and then tap a file name to start the play as desired. The list of “Internal Memory”

and “Card Memory” will not be displayed if no card has inserted.

• : Tag List; tap this icon to list all the video tag set by user, and then tap a file name to start

the play as desired. (support up to 32 tag lists)

3. Call up Video Control Menu

• In Video Browsing Interface, tap any where on the screen; the Video Control Menu will display

to use for 8 seconds.

4. Play / Pause

• To play video, tap / icon to switch between play and pause.

5. Change Next / Previous and Fast-Forward / Fast Backward

• Tap icon to play next file.

• Tap icon to play previous file.

• Tap and hold icon to play fast-forward.

• Tap and hold icon to play fast-backward.

• Or, tap and drag left / right at the playing progress bar to adjust the

progress direct to point where you desired.

6. Change Volume

• Tap and drag left / right at the volume control bar to adjust the volume level direct to point.

7. Video Play Setting Menu

• Tap icon to enter the Video Play Setting Menu, option includes “<Playback Mode>,

<Add Tag>, <Display Size>, <Resume>, <Delete>, <Information>, <Back>”.

• Choose “Playback Mode” to set option for “Sequence / Repeat One / Repeat All / Shuffle,

Shuffle + Repeat”

• Choose “Add Tag” the current video and its current time point will add to tag list, then it

returns to Video Browsing Interface. You will find the video in the corresponding tag in Tag

List.

• Choose “Display Size” to set option “Full Screen / Original Size / Scale” as you desired.

• Choose “Resume” to set option “On / Off”. The video will start playing from the time point

where it exited, when the resume option is set to On.

• Choose “Delete” to delete the current video from the player, choose “OK” to confirm or

choose “Cancel” to exit.

• Choose “Information” to display the detailed information of the current video. As such; File

Name, Resolution, Frame Rate, Bit Rate…etc.

• Choose “Back” to return to previous menu.

L. Record

• Tap “Record” icon in Main interface to enter the Record Mode Menu, the Record Interface

appear to use:

• Tap icon to start the recording.

• Tap icon to return to the previous directory, or return to desktop menu from root

directory. Or, Press “MENU” button.

Record Interface

1. Record Level Meter

During in recording mode, you may want to know the recording level, the recorder is provide a

record level meter for monitoring, you can check the real-time indication of external sound energy

on it.

2. Record Tool Bar

• Tap / icon to switch between Start / Pause during in recording mode.

• Tap icon to stop the recording, a confirmation dialog box will appear; tap “OK” to

confirm, the recording is stop and the recorded file will save to the system defaulted folder

automatically. (Internal Memory:\ROOT\RECORD\MIC\). Or, tap “Cancel” to exit and back

to recording mode.

• Tap / / icon to switch between the Record Quality “Low / Medium / High” as

you desired.

• Tap icon to change the Record Gain, choose “1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5” as you desired. (high

number will increase the record gain)

• During in recording mode, tap icon to stop the recording, a confirmation dialog box will

appear; tap “OK” to confirm, the recording is stop, the recorded file will save to the system

defaulted folder automatically and the screen will switch back to desktop menu directly.

• Tap “Cancel” to exit and back to recording mode.

3. Record Setting Menu

• In stop mode, tap icon to setup the record setting “<Record Format>, <Save Path>”.

• Tap “Record Format” to set the format of record files “wav / mp3” as you desired.

• Tap “Save Path” to change the default folder location, options include “Internal Memory”

and “Card Memory”. It just shows Internal Memory if no card is plugged in.

• Tap “Back” to exit.

Note: The Save Path default location; for Internal Memory: \ROOT\RECORD\MIC; for Card

Memory: \ROOT\RECORD\MIC.

M. Radio

• In desktop menu, tap “FM Radio” to enter the FM Radio interface. It will prompt if there is no

earphone plugged in. (no see this msg)

• Tap icon to return to desktop menu. Or, press “MENU” button

1. Manual Search Station

• Tap icon and slide up / down slowly to manual Search for the radio frequency, you will

see the frequency number is stepping up / down by 0.1(0.05)MHz. Tune the frequency number

to your desired radio station frequency.

2. Save Channel

• Tap icon to save the current tuned channel in channel list, if it channel is broadcasting and

not saved.

3. Channel List

• In Channel List, there have three lists; up to 9 channels can be saved in each list.

• Once the current tuned channel is saved, you will see the channel frequency is displayed in a

block.

4. Adjust Volume

• Tap icon and drag up and down to adjust the volume levels as you want.

5. Use FM Radio Tool Bar

Auto Search Station and Station Storage

• Tap icon to enter to auto search and auto preset mode. The radio will searching stations

in the range of frequency “76MHz – 92MHz / 87MHz – 108MHz”, all found radio stations

will be stored into “Channel List” table to use. The radio search will stop and show the first

received radio station to listening.

• To stop the auto search function during searching, tap icon again, the system will stops

at the last received channel.

FM Record

• Tap icon to enter FM Record interface, options are the same as <Record>. Files will be

automatically saved to default folder location. (Internal Memory:\ROOT\RECORD\FM\)

Save / Delete FM Channel

• Tap icon to save the current tune channel, if it channel is broadcasting and not saved.

Otherwise, the icon show as , it functions as Delete.

• Tap icon to delete the selected channel, a confirmation dialog box will appear, tap “OK”

to confirm. Or, tap “Cancel” to exit.

Radio Sound Mute

• Tap / icon to switch between Sounds Out / Sounds Mute.

6. Use FM Radio Setting

• In FM Radio interface, tap icon to enter FM Radio Setting, options include “<Channel

List>, <Tuner Region>, <FM Sensitivity>, <Record Quality>, <Record Gain>, <Save

Path>, <Record Format>, <Back>”.

• Channel List: is default by system.

• Tap “Tuner Region” to change the region as per your region location:

- CHN (China) / USA: 87.5MHz -108MHz

- Europe: 87.5MHz -108MHz

- Japan: 76MHz -90MHz

• Tap “FM Sensitivity” to set the radio reception sensitivity, choose “High / Medium / Low” as

you desired.

• To change Record Quality, tap “Record Quality”, a submenu list appears then choose “High /

Medium / Low” as you want.

• To change Record Gain, tap “Record Gain”, a submenu list appears then choose “1 / 2 / 3 / 4 /

5” as you desired.

• Tap “Save Path” to change the default folder location, for FM Record, options include

“Internal Memory” and “Card Memory”. It just shows Internal Memory if no card is

plugged in.

N. TXT Reader

• Tap “TXT Reader” in Desktop Menu to enter Ebook Mode Menu, an All EBooks List Screen

appear to Select.

• Tap a file name to start the play, the screen will switch to EBook Now Reading Menu and the

Ebook Browsing Tool Menu will appear at the same time. The Browsing Tool Menu will get

concealed after 6 seconds.

• Tap icon to return to the previous directory, or return to desktop menu from root

directory. Or, press “MENU” button.

All EBook List Screen EBook Now Reading Menu

1. EBook Tool Bar

• icon: Now Reading; Tap this icon to enter the EBook Now Reading List Screen, you can

view where the current play EBook file and the icon is marked at behind the current

reading Ebook file. Or, tap the file name to change other EBook to play.

• To go the EBook Now Playing list screen tap icon from the EBook Now Playing Screen

and then tap icon in EBook Tool Bar.

• icon: All EBooks; tap this icon to enter the All Ebooks List Screen, you will see all the

EBook files stored under EBook Directory in the player’s “Internal Memory” by default.

• icon: Directory Browse; tap this icon to enter the Directory Browse mode, then you will

see a directory list appear to select; Choose “Internal Memory” or “Card Memory” as you

desired.

• Choose “Internal Memory” to lists out all EBook files, by defaulted folder/file, in the player,

and then tap a file name to start the play as desired.

• Choose “Card Memory” to lists all folders/files and then choose a folder which contains

EBook files, and then tap a file name to start the play as desired. The list of “Internal

Memory” and “Card Memory” will not be displayed if no card has inserted.

• icon: Tag List; tap this icon to call out the Tag List, tap any one tag file in tag list to play

as you want, then the saved page will recall and display to read.

2. Change Next / Previous Page

• Tap the screen and slide to up / left to change next page.

• Tap the screen and slide to down / right to change to previous page.

3. Goto Page

• Tap icon at the progress bar that you want it to go, it will goto

the selected location of page direct. Or,

• Tap icon and sliding left / right at the progress bar to turn to certain page quickly

4. Use EBook Browsing Tool Menu

• In text browsing screen, tap any where the screen to call up the EBook Browsing Tool Menu.

• Tap / icon to switch between “Manual / Auto” Playing.

• Choose icon to select “Manual”, tap and slide the current page to up, left / down, right

to change next / previous page in manual mode.

• Choose icon to select “Auto” playing, the page will changing next automatically. The

icon will appear in ebook browsing tool menu when auto paging is activated. Tap

icon to select the paging time “ 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 / 15 (seconds)” as you want.

• Tap icon to create tag, the current page will add into to the tag list automatically. (Up to

32 tags supported)

• Tap and tapping icon to change font size between “Small (12)////Mid (16)////Big (24)” as

desired.

• Tap and tapping icon to change font color between “Pure White / Blue/ Dark Grey/

Pure Black” as desired.

5. Delete Tag List:

• In the specified lists screen, tap on the screen and drag from right to left, upon which icon

appears; tap one folder or file name, a confirmation dialog box is appear, then tap “OK” to

confirm and the selected folder / file will be deleted. Or, tap “Cancel” to abort.

• To exit from delete, tap on the screen and drag from left to right, the icon will disappear.

6. EBook Setting Menu

• In text browsing interface, tap icon to enter the EBook setting menu, an options screen

appear, choose “<Select Coding> / <Effect Setting> / <Delete>” to set.

• Tap “Select Coding”, and then choose you desired EBook’s language coding as desired.

(support up to 8 languages)

• Tap “Effect Setting” to select the page turning effects choose options “Move / Turn /

Water” as you desired

• Tap “Delete” to delete the current reading Ebook file from the player, choose “OK” to confirm

or choose “Cancel” to exit.

• Tap “Back” to exit from Ebook Setting Menu.

Enter other functions by tapping on the “other function” icon in the Desktop menu..

1. Browser

Browser function is a file manager; let you know very well that all types of file and folder

inside the player, also you can easy manage all types of file, to play or delete them, at those folders

• Tap “Browser” icon to enter File Navigator menu, a folders list screen appear to choose.

• Tap the screen and drag up / down to change page if it available.

• Tap icon to return to previous directory, or return to desktop menu from root directory.

1.1 To Play Media File

• Tap a folder and file to play and it will go direct to the necessary application mode to open and

play the selected file.

• Tap icon to back to previous menu. Or, press “MENU” button.

1.2 Use File Navigator Tool Bar

Change Memory Location

• Tap / icon to switch between Internal Memory and Card Memory. It will no

function if memory card is not plugged in.

Copy Folder/ File (Between Internal Memory and Card Memory)

• Tap (folder) icon which in front of the desired folder name to be copied at the Internal

Memory / Card Memory, a “Click” icon appear instead. And then tap icon to copy the

selected folder to Card Memory / Internal Memory, a confirmation dialog box appear; tap

“OK” to confirm. Or, tap “Cancel” to exit.

• Tap a folder and tap a file icon which in front of the desired file name to be copied at the

Internal Memory / Card Memory, a “Click” icon appears instead. And then tap icon to

copy the desired file to Card Memory / Internal Memory, a confirmation dialog box appear; tap

“OK” to confirm. Or, tap “Cancel” to exit. (those copied files will be stored into the system

default folder)

• Tap “Click” icon when it appear to cancel the select function.

Note: A message “Insert external device” dialog box will appear if Card Memory is plugged in.

Delete Folder / File (From Internal Memory and Card Memory)

• Tap (folder) icon which in front of the desired folder name to be deleted at the Internal

Memory / Card Memory, a “Click” icon appear instead, And then tap icon to delete the

selected folder from the player, a confirmation dialog box appear; tap “OK” to confirm. Or, tap

“Cancel” to exit.

• Tap a folder, and then tap a file icon which in front of the desired file name to be deleted at the

Internal Memory / Card Memory, a “Click” icon appears instead. And then tap icon to

delete the desired file from player, a confirmation dialog box appear; tap “OK” to confirm. Or,

tap “Cancel”

• Tap “Click” icon when it appear to cancel the select function.

Select All Folder / All File in Folder

• Tap icon to select all files/folders under the current folder/directory. Once selected, a

“Click” icon will instead to show in front of all file/folder names. Tap it again to cancel

the Select All function.

Note: If no external card plugged in, it shows Internal Memory only, which includes EBOOK,

FLASH, MUSIC, PHOTOS, RECORD, SYSTEM, VIDEO and other files. All the files under the

folder will be listed. Operations of external “Card Memory” are the same as “Internal Memory”.

2. Calendar

• Tap “Calendar” icon to enter calendar screen to view.

• Tap icon to return to desktop menu.

• Tap / icon to switch to the previous or next Month in year as desired.

3. Calculator

• Tap “Calculator” icon to enter the calculator interface.

• To exit, tap icon to return to previous directory, or return to desktop menu from root

directory. Or, Press “MENU” button

4. Stopwatch

• Tap “Stopwatch” icon to enter the stopwatch interface.

• Tap icon to return to previous directory, or return to desktop menu from root directory.

Or, Press “EXIT” button

• Tap “Start” icon to start timer, A “Stop” icon appear instead. And “Lap” icons appear instead

of “Reset” icon.

• Tap “Lap” icon to record the lap time as you want it to. (Support up to 100 laps record)

• Tap “Stop” icon to stop the timer as desired.

• Tap “Reset” icon to clear the record and reset the timer.

5. Flash Game

• Tap “Flash” icon to enter FLASH game list.

• Choose a game file to start the play.

• Press “EXIT” button to exit the game and back to desktop menu.

• Tap icon to return to previous directory, or return to desktop menu from root directory.

Or, Press “EXIT” button

• Tap icon to adjust the volume level of Flash game sounds, a “Volume Control Bar” appear

to use, Tap and drag left / right the Volume Control Bar to adjust the levels.

Tap icon to enter the FLASH Game list, select FLASH game in list to play.

Tap icon to enter the Animation list, select FLASH animation file in list to play.

2. How to Play Game

• Please refer to game’s help / instruction / rules and controls which normally show at front

screen of the game. Tap on the related words or icons which show.

Note: No key operation is supported. In Flash Game, operations of read game and save game are

not available. If you have support flash game apps, you can upload them to the player to play.

P. Use Thema

This player allows you to change icons and background colors. To changing desktop icon and

background color:

� In desktop menu, tap “Thema” icon, those icons and/or background color is changing as same

time. Tapping “Thema” icon to change difference combination as you desired.

1. Set Display

• Tap “Display” in Setting Menu to enter the display menu:

• Bright Time: Choose this item to set the backlight shutdown time. Tap and drag the icon

to left / right at progress bar to change option “ 0 – 60 seconds” as desired.

• Brightness: Choose this item to set the backlight level. Tap and drag the icon to left /

right at progress bar to change option “1 – 5” level as desired.

• Tap icon to back to previous menu.

2. Calibrate

In some circumstances, such as electrostatic discharge voltage, you might need to calibrate the

touch allocation on screen for the touch function misplaced if happens.

• Tap “Calibrate” icon in Setting Menu, a calibration cursor “ ” appear on the left top corner

on screen, and then touch the center of cursor to start the calibration. Follow to touch the cursor

which appears in difference location until calibration is done.

3. Off Time

• Tap “Off Time” in Setting Menu to enter the Off Time menu:

• Idle Time: Choose this item to set the shut time, the player will turn to Off automatically if it

is in idle, tap and drag the icon to left / right at progress bar to change option “0 – 60

minutes” as desired.

• Sleep Time: Choose this item to set the player go to sleep after the set time period. Tap and

drag the icon to left / right at progress bar to change option “0 – 120 minutes” as desired.

• Tap icon to back to previous menu.

4. Date & Time

• Tap “ Date & Time” in Setting Menu to enter the Date & Time Menu:

• Set Date: Choose this item to adjust year, month and day, three wheel screen appear to use;

you can adjust date to current year by tap and sliding the year wheel up / down. Follow adjust

the month and day to current date by using the same method.

• Tap icon to back to previous menu.

• Adjust Time: Choose this item to adjust hour, minute and AM/PM, three wheel screens appear

to use; you can adjust hour to current time by tap and sliding the hour wheel up / down. Follow

adjust the minute and AM/PM to current time by using the same method.

• Tap icon to back to previous menu.

5. Language

This player can use difference languages. To set the languages:

• Tap “Language” in Setting Menu, and then choose your desired OSD language.

• Tap icon to back to previous menu.

6. Advanced

• Tap “Advanced” to enter the Advanced Menu:

• Player Info: Choose this item to displaying player’s information: such as; Owner, Firmware

Version, Total Space, Free Space, Total Card Space, Free Card Space, All Music, All Photo, All

Video, All E-books, Flash Game.

7. Check System

• Check System: Choose this item to optimizes the player’s performance, when it used for long

period of time.

• Tap “Check System”, a Message “Few minutes May require ?” dialog box appear.

• Tap “OK” the system starts checking and prompts “Self-checking…” and then the player will

shutdown automatically to reset. Turn the player On to renew the system.

• Tap “Cancel” to abort.

8. Reset

• Reset: Choose this item to restore settings back to factory default, those settings of each

application will be recovered.

• Tap “Reset”, a message “Restore Default Setting?” dialog box appear, Tap “OK” to confirm.

Or, Tap “Cancel” to abort.

9. Format Internal Memory

• Choose this item to format the Internal Memory if you want, make sure to copy the data

necessary before formatting, all data will be loss.

• Tap “Format Internal Memory”, a message “Format Internal Memory?” dialog box appear;

Tap “OK” to confirm. Or, Tap “Cancel” to abort.

10. Format Card

• Choose this item to format the Card Memory if you want, make sure to copy the data necessary

before formatting, all data will be loss.

• Tap “Format Card”, a message “Format Card?” dialog box appear; Tap “OK” to confirm.

R. Use Micro SD Card Slot (T-Flash Card)

This player allows you to play those support media files from a Micro SD Memory card

(T-Flash).

1. Insert / Remove the Micro SD card

• For safe to insert / remove the micro SD memory card into/from the card slot. Recommended

you to turn Off the player before you do that.

• A message “Card In” dialog box will appear to notify for 3 seconds at each time you turn On

the player or the player is in operation.

• However, a message “Card In / Card Out” dialog box will appear to notify for 3 seconds at

each time you plug in or pull out the card when the player is in operation.

S. Troubleshooting

Play cannot turn ON • Check battery is it charged with enough energy.

• Check whether main power switch is in ON position.

No sound is heard from

headphone.

• Check whether Volume is set “0” and connect the

headphone plugs firmly.

• Check whether the headphone plug is dirty.

• Corrupted MP3 may make a static noise and the sound

may cut off. Make sure that the music files are not

corrupted.

Key or touch function does not

work

• Check whether key lock switch is in locked position.

Characters in LCD are corrupted • Check whether the right language has been selected.

Download of music files fails. • Check whether USB cable is damaged and is connected

properly.

• Check whether driver is installed correctly.

• Check whether the player’s memory is in full.
