Model L111 Thermostatic Mixing Valve is ideal for supplyingsinks, showers or lavatories with tempered water in commercial,educational and institutional environments such as schools,restaurants, hospitals, nursing homes and public restrooms.
This thermostatically modulated mixing valve can be used any-where preset water temperature is required for point-of-use.Its tamper resistant cover makes it especially useful for exposed“under-the-sink” installations.
Features

Specifications
A Thermostatic Mixing Valve shall be installed on the hot watersupply to fixture(s) as shown on the diagram below. The valveshall be ASSE Standard 1069 or 1070 approved and controlthe temperature of the hot water to the fixture(s). The valve shallhave 1 ⁄ 2" (15mm) female NPT inlet and outlet connections. Itshall have a brass body. The valve shall have integral mount-ing holes to enable the valve to be secured to a wall or suitableenclosure. The valve shall include a tamper resistant thermo-plastic enclosure to protect against unauthorized adjustment of the outlet temperature or removal of mounting fasteners. Thevalve shall be of a single replaceable cartridge design to allowservice or repair of the valve without removal of the valve fromthe system piping or disassembly of internal valve components.
The Thermostatic Mixing Valve(s) shall be a Watts Model L111.

Application Note:
This L111 valve is not factory pre-set and can be adjusted to deliver water attemperatures exceeding 110°F (43°C). Consequently, after installing the WattsL111 Thermostatic Mixing Valve, the installer should always check the outlet watertemperature. Further, check valves and strainers must be installed in the hot andcold water supply lines to this valve. See installation instruction sheet IS-L111.
