    The Road from Jalipudi to Kolleru lake is badly damaged during

    the NEELAM CYCLONE from 28.10.2012 to 5.11.2012.The nature of damages are as given below:-

    1 .Pot holes and patches are formed in BT surface2 .Pot holes and patches are formed in WBM layer

    3 .Pot holes and patches are formed in gravel layer

    4 .Gravel blindage is washed-off

    5 Approaches and repairs are required for the CD work

    6 New CD work to be provided

    As such,the line estimate is prepared with the above repair items.

    Further lum sum rovisions are made in the estimate for the followin items:-

    1 Provision for VAT 5.00%2)QC charges @ 0.5%3)Provision for insurance@ 0.5%

    The estimate is re ared as er the current SSR,i.e.2012-2013 rates and as erthe A.P Revised Standard data work will be carried out as er APDSS after administrative sanction&entrustment

    Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of

    granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85

    kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502 MORD (for use

    on Wet mix macadam & WBM)

    Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at

    the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface

    cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503 MORD.

    Providing, laying and rolling of close-graded premix surfacing material of 25 mm thickness

    composed of 13.2 mm to 0.9 mm (Type-B) aggregates using penetration grade bitumen to

    required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base,

    including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 8-10 kN static roller

    and finishing to required level and grades as per Technical Specification Clause 509 MORD

    Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound

    macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth

    wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone

    screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required
