Description
Eliminate the strain and risk of injury associated with cast iron switch machine covers using the RDG light weight cast Aluminum covers. All RDG Aluminum covers weigh less than 19 pounds. That’s less than half the weight of a traditional cast iron cover. They’re designed to be a direct replacement for the OEM covers used on GRS Model 5 and 6 switch machines. It’s rugged enough for harsh wayside application, yet light weight and easy to handle. The strength and impact resistance is better than the OEM cast iron cover. Each cover is supplied ready to use: painted, neoprene gasket and a crank cover. Beware of imitations! RDG aluminum covers are engineered to duplicate all the me-chanical properties of cast iron. This ensures that the cover will perform properly in all safety critical environments.

Description Rail Development Group’s switch wrench set includes all of the wrenches needed for adjusting the lock and point detector rods on GRS and US&S switch machines. These wrenches are made of heat treated forged alloy steel and comes with a lifetime warranty. All wrenches feature a 67 degree offset on one end to allow for easy and safe adjustment on both the lock rod and point detector rod nuts.
