    IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The MAN-HOURS PER PIECE listed in this Genset section of the Standard Time System(STS) are the maximum allowable time for the respective repair jobs.

For all repair jobs involving replacement of parts it is acceptable to apply the maximumallowable time. However, for all repair jobs marked with an @ the actual time consumed must apply. If theactual time consumed should exceed the maximum allowable time, the latter shall apply. For your guidance repair codes marked with an @ usually refer to repair work requiring nospare parts, trouble shooting, repair or cleaning of components and wiring. Common to all ofthese repair jobs is that they will vary in complexity and time consumption from time to time.It is an important duty of the repair management to ensure that the number of STS hours appliagainst each repair job is minimized and that no conflicting STS codes are applied.
