GENERAL REMARKS All estimations of man-hours are based on high cube containers and include: • MIG welding when joining steel parts. • 3 coat paint system Estimation of repairs which includes use of spare parts such as corner casting – corner post – crossmember – header – sill and top/bottom rail, asume spare parts delivered in correct size and shape. Time for manufacturing of spare parts shall bee included in the price for spare parts. Glossary of terms Replace : Remove damaged part and install new part. Reinstallation : Remove sound part and install same part in previous position. Doubler plate : Plate or angle which add thickness to a part of a structure such as header/sill Reinforcement/ gusset plate : Same as doubler plate Stiffener : Plate which add strength to the formed part of a structure such as header/sill Section : A piece of a structure such as: top/bottom rail – floor – locking rod. Splice : A section which is connected to the structure with plates (e.g. ALU-container) Insert : A part worked in a structure such as: top/bottom rail – corner post – header/sill etc.
