Mock cable stitch, the illusion of cables without the bumps.

Abbreviations: k = knit

p = purl

k2tog = knit 2 stitches together.

ssk = slip, slip, knit. Slip two stitches knitwise one at a time onto the right needle, stick point of left

needle in two slipped stitches in front of the right needle and knit.
