Concept:

- The visitor tour begins with a virtual trip inside the city of Luebeck, displayed on the entrance kiosk. Each virtual place is related to one or manyobjects existing in the museum. The visitor has the opportunity to choose whichare the most interesting items for him and customize his tour. After the selection is completed, the tour is sent to visitor's mobile phone via bluetooth, and the map displayed on the mobile phone will guide him towards the selected objects. Additional information about each museum roomsis provided to the visitor in the moment he enters each room, based on thebluetooth location tracking technology.

Prototype:

1 Visitor's mobile device is identified via bluetooth byContextualized Exhibition Services and assign an user ID for eachvisitors' smart phone.

2. After tour selection done on the kiosk, the information is sent to CES system by clicking on the final send button. The flash application will call CES framework and request the assigned session-id.

3. CES system creates a bluetooth-message which is sent to the users' mobilephone.

4. The server provides the homepage using a (reversed-)ajax function that waits for CES system to send an UPDATE MESSAGE. When receiving the update message the ajax-script will read the message code and will change the homepage which is displayed accordingly.
