The cable management is a special feature of the vexio-cart single-column equipment cart, which results from the combination of support extrusions, lateral cable ducts and electrical box, which can be summarised as follows:

1 A side-fed cable management system enables concealed and

protected accommodation of the data lines and power cables.

2 A snap-open mechanism with a large opening angle enables a

quick and easy access.

3 Integrated clamps ensure the neat and separate cable routing

and secure closure of the cable ducts.

4 The lateral opening slits on the cable ducts allow flexible cable

The use of the electrical box provides a new professional type of cabling in the vexio-cart single-column equipment cart. The electrical box features are as follows:

1 The electrical box is fitted underneath the base to save space and

provide easy access to the assembly points.

2 It offers a large storage space for standard socket strips, power units,

and excess cables.

3 The lock mechanism provides protection against unauthorised

access (in accordance with the standard specifications).

4 It offers high pull-out ability and easy access in the event of a malfunction

or the addition of further electrical components.

5 Easy wipe cleaning and disinfection options ensure compliance with the

hygienic requirements in everyday hospital practice.

6 The POAG plug on the outside of the electrical box is used to connect

the relevant cables.

The vexio-cart mobile single-column equipment cart is available in the “Basic” and „Profi“ versions with elegant design. Despite its small footprint both versions guarantee a payload of up to 65 kg. Large twin swivel castors provide a high level of mobility and smooth-running ride characteristics. The „Profi“ basic frame electrical box (see page 6) mounted beneath the base provides added value. It allows secure and space-saving accommodation of socket strips and other electrical components and protects from unauthorised access through locking mechanism. In conjunction with the laterally attachable cable ducts, it supports an almost invisible, safe and smart cabling and electrification solution.

The handle optionally mounted at the rear of the support extrusion is fixed in a vertical sliding position. This ensures adequate freedom of base movement and a space-saving mounting position of the support extrusion on the wall. Due to its design the handle can also be used as a cable winder or a connector holder. The electrical box (see page 6) is integrated underneath the basic frame without any compromises on the mounting options in order to accommodate socket strips or electrical accessories (e.g. power packs) in a compact and secure manner. An integrated POAG connector normally supplied in the „Profi“ version of the vexio-cart provides appropriate connectivity, protects against unauthorised access and maintains high standards of hygiene required in the everyday routine of hospitals.

The electrical tray can accommodate large socket strips or diverse extended cables which are secured using the appropriate attachment options. Fitted beneath a shelf, it provides protection against unauthorised access and maintains high standards of hygiene required in the everyday routine of hospitals. Small openings at the rear of the electrical tray provide the appropriate cable connection and extension options.
