The Lantern Palm Beach/Martin Counties Chapter Military Of:icers Association of America October 2015 Issue Help wanted: active, vibrant, organization of successful, forward leaning people is looking for a few motivated, outgoing, goal oriented candidates to fill some leadership positions of increasing responsibility. Occasionally, you will travel to exotic locations to meet with similarly minded people from other similar organizations. Also occasionally, you will get to attend smaller organizational meetings convened for the express intent of furthering the great work of the larger group. Routinely, you will participate in awesome social activities within the group, and others in honor of young people considering a career path similar to ours, as well as others in which we honor those who came before us. A desire to feel good about ones' accomplishments a must. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated record of getting things done. "All-talk-no-action" people need not apply. Minimal computer capabilities necessary. (Can you send and receive email?... perfect!). Most importantly, selected candidates will want to have fun and have a desire to do good things. Must work well with other goal-oriented people. Curmudgeons and grumpy people need not apply. Salary and benefits are negotiable. (Basically, you can ask for whatever you want.... hah!). Selected candidates will earn the respect of their peers and gain a sense of accomplishment unmatched in most other endeavors. The praise and admiration of significant others is just another fringe benefit. Send your work history and salary requirements as well as detailed resume with at least three references in confidence to MOAA PBM Director of Human Resources at "[email protected]" or call 561-745-1434 during business hours. Open positions will surely be filled quickly. Veterans, and spouses of veterans, given priority. No experience necessary. Don't dilly-dally. These positions will be filled in January. If you have the itch to do something bigger than you, it's time to scratch. ----------------------------------- When I was on active duty, I flew Marine Corps CH-46 Sea Knight helicopters, the twin rotor medium helicopters similar to the Army's CH-47 Chinooks, which is a “heavy lift” helo.
