MMP 2500, a multimodal platform, which integrates multiple delivery modes and payments, and

subscription options for 2, 2.5, and 3G networks and handsets.

"MMP2500 allows carriers and service providers to quickly capture additional revenue with minimalinvestment using technology that is fully deployable on today's networks and handsets," says ArvindRao, CEO of OnMobile Systems. "Just as browser technology drove the worldwide explosion ofInternet-based applications and businesses, multimodality will drive the adoption of new, easy-to-navigate wireless applications worldwide."

Powered by MMP2500, OnMobile has developed a suite of unique, multimodal applications thatenable carriers to effectively differentiate services from competition and boost market-acceptance. Inaddition to standard applications such as voice-activated dialing and information services such asnews, weather and traffic, OnMobile has developed the following cutting-edge applications that allowusers to:-- Hear information on points of interest, entertainment, music, arts and

dining. Make immediate contact with destinations of choice, complete

transactions, view maps or have directions read over the phone.

-- Receive turn-by turn driving directions through voice, text or graphics

    as

well as traffic information and travel conditions.

-- Identify the nearest business of interest or select from a list ofbusinesses through voice.

-- Access a list of people available for odd jobs and contact them through

    voice-activated dialing.

-- Take advantage of promotional alerts from selected vendors.

-- Make anonymous contact when a dating "match" is found based on

pre-established profiles and preferences. Receive text or voice alerts when

    a

    match is in the vicinity.

-- Identify the exact location of friends, colleagues and family and then

request a map or driving directions or make instant contact throughvoice-activated dialing.

MMP2500 supports an extensive range of protocols for ease of network integration - including SS7,

PRI and MFC R2 for telephony and SMPP, CIMD and UCP for SMS messages. The system supports

multiple technologies - including GSM, CDMA, TDMA, GPRS and 3G. Its powerful billing capabilities

enable flexible billing and payment options for consumers and service providers.

Smpp: short message peer to peer

Cimd: Computer Interface to Message Distribution (developed by nokia)

Ucp: universal computer protocol: Ozeki NG - SMS Gateway supports the Universal Computer Protocol /External Machine Interface (UCP/EMI). This protocol is often used by GSM service providers for IP SMS connectivity.

The currently used protocol versions (v3, v3.5, v4.0) can be used to transfer high volumes of SMS traffic. It is used for

both premium rate and normal rate SMS messages.

PRI: primary rate interface for T channels for telephony

Mfc: multifrequency compelled for R2 signalling system

    Smsc: Short message service center

A short message service center(SMSC) is a network element in the mobile telephone network which delivers SMS messages.

When a usersends a text message (SMS message) to another user, the message gets stored in the SMSC (short message

service center) which delivers it to the destination user when they are available. This is a store and forward option.

    RTP: Real time transport protocol

SIP: The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is an IETF-defined signalingprotocol widely used for controlling communication

sessions such as voice and video calls overInternet Protocol (IP). The protocol can be used for creating, modifying and

terminating two-party (unicast) or multiparty (multicast) sessions. Sessions may consist of one or several media streams.

Media Resource Control Protocol (MRCP) is a communication protocol used by speech servers to provide various services

(such as speech recognition and speech synthesis) to their clients. MRCP relies on another protocol, such as Real Time Streaming

Protocol (RTSP) orSession Initiation Protocol (SIP) for establishing a control session and audio streams between the client and

    the server.

Premium access payment model: Among the newer payment methods, offer-based payments where users get rewarded

with virtual currency or premium access in exchange for interacting with ad offers such as watching videos, participating in surveys and

registering for product trials are of particular interest. These offers are presented in different places, both at the online point-of-sale as

an alternative payment method as well as in the form of promotional banners and other notifications elsewhere on the website. They are

especially attractive for publishers and content providers since research reveals they actually support regular payment options by

serving as a stepping-stone for users to sample premium content without parting with real cash. Once convinced or hooked, themajority of these users are converted to paying customers.

Subscription model:The subscription business model is a business model where a customer must pay a subscription price to

have access to the product/service. The model was pioneered by magazinesand newspapers, but is now used by manybusinesses and websites.

ASR & TTS (automatic speech recognition)

    Slm: statistical language model

A standard IVR system prompts the user for keypad inputs and uses these inputs to perform actions

on the database. At Avhan we save you the trouble of punching-in your inputs. Speech is the most

natural form of communication and requires the least amount of training and infrastructure for

    users

The Avhan Speech recognition IVR allows you to SPEAK !!! with a virtual agent for selecting your

menu options. Another example of humanizing technology!!! This application is best suited in a

scenario where the user uses rotary phones or needs to keep his hands free. Avhan Technologies has

a proven track record in delivering supreme quality speech recognition systems. Using in-house

RADIUS is a protocol for carrying authentication, authorization, and configuration information

between a Network Access Server which desires to authenticate its links and a sharedAuthentication Server.

y RADIUS stands for Remote Authentication Dial In User Service.

y RADIUS is an AAA protocol for applications such as Network Access or IP Mobility

y Works in both situations (a) Local (b) Mobile.

y Uses PAP, CHAP or EAP protocols to authenticate users.

y Look in text file, LDAP Servers, Database for authentication.

y After authentication services parameters passed back to NAS.

y Be notified when the session starts and top. This data will be used for Billing or Statistics

    purposes.

y SNMP is used for remote monitoring

y Can be used as a proxy.
