MOST MISUNDERSTOOD AND OFTEN COMPLAINED ABOUT INDUSTRY

ISSUE – POSTS • Machine resellers don’t talk about them when selling machines

• Every machine requires a POST• Software developers only provide generic POSTs

• That can be used by multiple customers• That can be used on multiple machines

• Customers don’t understand why they should have to pay for them• When they add new machines• When the change equipment• When they want custom POSTS

• Value Added Software Reseller are caught in the middle 11

• In the volume machining world machine time is money

• In the job shop world time-to-program is money

• Customers don’t really like generic POSTs and want their code the way they want to see it

• In the software world custom POSTs take time and cost money

• MLC is capable of creating POSTs from scratch or capable of the most complex custom POSTs

• NOT sure how to solve the most misunderstood and complained about industry issue (ideas?)
