The inside of the tube is to becommercially clean, free of dirt, rust scale,grease and cappedBending CautionThe carbon content of this steel tube is suchthat if heated for bending, and either water orair quenched, it may loose its ductility andthereby be subject to failure under highpressure or hydraulic shockDO NOT HEAT THE TUBEIf the tubing must be bent to conform to theTruck chassis we recommend that thebending be done “COLD” in a tube bender toprevent “flattening” of the tube cross sectionMountingLocate mounting brackets to support thelines on each and the mid-section of the tubelength. Be sure these brackets are mountedsecurely so that the tubes and hoses do notflex or vibrate against each other or the truckframe.

Before AssemblyAll tubes and hoses should be inspected fordirt and flushed clean. All hoses and tubingshould be kept capped until ready forinstallation. All ports on pumps & motorsshould remain capped or plugged until thefittings are installed and hoses are attached.Do not mount components where they willbe susceptible to heat. All fittings should becarefully tightened. Do not over torque. T wowrenches should be used when tighteningthe tubes and hose fittings. DO NOT , underany circumstances, operate the pump unlessthe hydraulic system is completelyconnected and the start-up procedure iscompleted. It is recommended that tubelines be applied in straight line run and thatthe hydraulic hoses be used for the bendswhenever possible
