  • Course DescriptionThis course will provide students with the necessary knowledge as well as mastery of developing interactive websites and web-based systems.

    The course will also provide the students working knowledge of the current technologies in web development.

  • Course ObjectiveAt the end of the term, the student is expected to be familiar with the underlying principles and technologies in web development. Specifically, the student should be able to:Conceptualize, design and develop unique and interactive web pages.Apply the theories, principles and technologies in web design and development.Design and developed interactive websites and web-based systems.

  • Learning OutcomesStudents will learn to program in a current client-side scripting language.Students will learn how to bring together client-side and server-side scripting to create a real-world solution for a contemporary web site.Students will exercise creativity by envisioning and creating a Web site that serves a useful purpose and exhibits their skill.Students will gain experience working with teammates on a web design project involving the creation of a site with enhanced functionality.
