They will assist in connecting you with the appropriate police department for incidents that occurred off-campus. 2 The TIX Coordinator (TIX C) can explain your reporting options (both formal and informal reports). See titleix.mit.edu for the MIT Sexual Misconduct Policy and reporting process, list of Deputy TIX Coordinators, and resources. 3 Private resources have a duty to report the incident to the TIX C. The TIX C will work to ensure you have all your reporting options, can coordinate campus resources, and collects information to track broader trends across campus. 4 Confidential resources will not report any identifying information to the TIX C. 5 Staff from VPR are available 24 hours a day to provide support and answer any questions you have about resources and reporting options.
