Dixie Sales Arena (Barn 12), Jackson, MS

Dear Simmental Breeders,

I would like to take this opportunity to invite everyone to the Dixie National Simmental/Simbrah sale in Jackson, Mississippi on February 12th held in conjunction with the Dixie National Stock and Rodeo. If you are involved in the beef business as a commercial breeder or breed Simmental, Simbrah, Angus or any breed, we invite your inspection. If you have been away from the Simmental breed we invite to come and view the 2011 Simmental, SimAngus and Simbrah offering.

The sale will be held again in the Dixie sales arena. The staff at the Dixie National have always been super on the hospitality and cooperation with the Simmental sale. This year all the consignments will be halter broke and stalled with the open show cattle and prior to the sale will be in the sale isle. As always the quality of seed stock in this Mississippi Simmental/Simbrah Association sponsored event is strong.

The breeders involved from around the different states consigned their best to this years sale. Whether you are searching for opens, bulls, breds, young cows, Simbrahs, SimAngus or top notch embryo genetics, and flushes, the selection will be strong on February 12th.

Last year the snow came and went away on sale day so we are hoping for a beautiful sunny day in Jackson sale day and we invite everyone back again this year to enjoy the hospitality of Mississippi breeders. Many events are happening this year at the Dixie National so come to the sale and then take in the Dixie National Farm Expo in conjunction with the farm expo ply all the breed shows.

Also, if you have any questions regarding the sale lineup please call Drew Hatmaker or myself. Also, don’t forget the Simmental/Simbrah shows on Sunday. Just take in all the events in Jackson.

Congratulations to the Flying B, Frank and Greg Brown with their success with Flying B Cut Above, a past Dixie Champion and new ABS herdsire. Study the catalog, you will see a lot of Mississippi genetics in many pedigrees. Come visit with the consignors and see why the Simmental breed is strong.
