For over 70 years, Jallatte® has been a leader in the safety footwear market, taking

advantage of innovation and the search for technical innovations to improve

continuously the personal protection in the workplace. Preserving health and

improving the well-being of people at work has always been part of our historical

DNA.

Today, our efforts are focused on the prevention of TMS risks, musculoskeletal

disorders, thanks to innovative materials and new multi-density soles technology

certified by international patents. After safety, comfort and design, we are opening

the way for anti-fatigue performance with an ergonomic approach that adapts to all

physiologies and all work’s situations. What distinguishes Jallatte® is, first of all, its

ability to differentiate itself and the undeniable quality of the products, which allows

us to strengthen the market position achieved and to ensure, always and again, the

commitment to creating well-being for all professionals on their own workplace.

CSR COMMITMENTS

UPPER & SOLE ASSEMBLY LABEL

Our industrial activities as designer and manufacturer of safety footwear impose strict rules on compliance with standards related to personal protective equipment.However, this minimum requirement is not sufficient if we are to be a more socially responsible operator. For several years, our approach aims, first of all, to favour local production thanks to a vast plan of re-industrialization of our historic site of Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort, at the foot of the Cévennes Gardoises. The relocation of specific collections, massive investments to develop new technologies, the recruitment of new staff, innovative projects focused on anti-fatigue shoes with multi-density soles for energy restitution are as many strategic lines that guide us towards the virtuous circle of Economic, Social and Environmental development.

Our desire for transparency on appellations of origin requires us to clear and unambiguous communication to our distributors and end-users.Too many market players hide the origins of production or remain unclear, making it impossible to build a climate of trust in long-term customer relationships. At Jallatte, the approach is straightforward: we have chosen to indicate very clearly in our catalogue, thanks to a Blue-White-Red pictogram, the items whose assembly of upper & sole is guaranteed "Made in France". Others, with no pictogram, can come - according to our manufacturing programs - from our Cévenol site as well as from one of our Tunisian plants100% integrated and controlled by our Group. Note that all the uppers that are cut and sewn in these sites mention "Upper Made In Tunisia", as the processing in other country does not allow us the mere mention "Made In France".

All these mentions, explicitly stated in our communication media and on the labels of our products, as required by legislation, are such as to make Jallatte a transparent and responsible manufacturer wishing to develop its customer relationship with values of mutual respect and long-term trust.

Technology consisting of a superstructure grid made of TPU and designed for an enhanced support of the upper. Promoting the "seamless"concept, it contributes to an increased durability of the shoes.

Putek® plus Technology uses newly developed high resistance abrasion yarns, woven directly into the fabric, to obtain high-tenacity and high-performance abrasion resistant fabrics. These highly resistant and water-repellent fabrics allow the creation of ultra-light and ultra-breathable S3 products.

TPU cushioned insert positioned on the ankle area enabling the full protection of the ankle bones against possible side impacts.

A specific TPU insert, ensuring an excellent energy absorption in the heel area, preventing the micro-traumas from impacts with the ground and improving the comfort on rough terrains.

Innovative technical lining that combines smoothness and softness together with high performances of breathability, antimicrobial properties and abrasion resistance. Which is marketed under the name Infinergy®.Elastic like rubber but lighter, this innovative expanded TPU (E -TPU) combines, thanks to its closed cell technology, TPU properties with the benefits of foam: Low density (about 0,25) – High elasticity – Lightness and softness – High resistance to abrasion – High resistance to traction – Good chemical resistance – Very good long-term durability in a wide range of operating temperatures – An exceptional resilience (that has an extraordinary ability to return energy).

One of the most important characteristics of Infinergy® is the excellent elastic memory, thanks to its closed cells structure and to the original molecular architecture of the polymer. The “rebound test” for elastic resistance, a test method determined by DIN 53512, proved that the E-TPU rebound coefficient is more than 70%, much higher than all other polymers available on the market.

Slip resistance of the soleRegulation: EN ISO 20345:2011 / 20347:2012

Personal Safety Equipments (P.P.E.) are ruled by two European regulations:

• the 89/686 CE which defines the obligations of the producer

• the 89/656 CE relating to the use, which defines the obligations of the companies and the workers.

Safety, protectional and professional footwear are identified as Personal Safety Equipments

OBLIGATIONS OF THE PRODUCERBy purchasing Jallatte® products you are assured that all footwear have met the certification procedures based on the European regulations, as shown by the CE marking. Each box contains an informative note of use which establishes the risks covered. For every model, Jallatte® issues a declaration of conformity.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE COMPANIES AND THE WORKERSbesides the priority of collective protection, the directive establishes an obligation of health and safety. The employers must:• locate the risks which cannot be avoided through

collective protection

• select the P.P.E. suitable and appropriate to the risks, in consultation with the R.S.P.P.

• select the P.P.E. compatible with the types of work to be executed and with the principles of ergonomics

• make the P.P.E. available to the workers• monitor actual usage• provide the P.P.E. for free and for personal use• ensure the proper functioning, the hygienic status

and maintenance• proceed or o carry out periodical general checks for

some categories of P.P.E.• ensure information, education, instruction, training

of the use of P.P.E. And the risks covered• prepare a delivery note of the P.P.E. For the worker

And further:• the P.P.E. are not to be considered prizes in kind• the responsability of the worker is only disciplinary

(omission to wear the protections) and is subordinated to a criminal matter responsability of the employer

THE CERTIFICATION PROCEDURESall Jallatte® footwear belong to class II (protection against severe risks). Therefor all footwear are submitted to the specific CE examination at a enabled body at Europen level.

Basing on the analyses and the executed tests for this type in conformity to the regulation EN ISO 20344:2011, on the technical documentation and the informative notre of use, a CE attestation is released, valid in whole Europe.

NotesIt is forbidden to affix on a P.P.E., on it's box and on any other pertinent document any brand or writing susceptible to create confusion with the markings provided within the framework of the certification procedures in conformity with Art. R233.50.1
