In January of 2014, she decided to switch out Flower Marts for Faith Communities.

When not at work with her awesome coworkers, Lizanne can be found indulging in her many creative endeavors such as gardening (or pining for it in the winter), canning, soap making, painting, and boasting about her two incredible kids. The Rev. Michael Pipkin, Missioner for Missional Management Email: [email protected]

Michael can help you determine what resources are available to your faith community, find answers to your questions about employment, connect you with appropriate groups within ECMN to support your projects, and help you find answers to your questions about Safe Church Policy, Canons, Audits, and more. He is also available for leading Vestry retreats, preaching, teaching, and leading worship. Michael came to ECMN after serving as the Vicar and Senior Associate at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has been a full-time parish priest for six years and was an active-duty Navy Chaplain for nearly five years.

His pastoral and military experience organizing active-duty chaplains, as well as his experience at Walter Reed and Bethesda Naval Hospital, combined with his experience in leading and managing the administration, property, and facilities of a large suburban parish, have taught him the value of appreciating all of the resources we have been given to engage God’s mission. As priest-in-charge of The Falls Church (Episcopal) in Northern Virginia from 2007-2011, Michael has also had significant experiences with faith communities who are facing structural challenges and their opportunities.
