Japanese generals, admirals, and statesmen knew, but only a handful of leaders were willing to accept defeat. Most were bent on fighting the Allies until the last Japanese soldier died and the last city burned to the ground. Exhaustively researched and vividly told, The Fall of Japan masterfully chronicles the dramatic events that brought an end to the Pacific War and forced a once-mighty military nation to surrender unconditionally.

The Choir shared 7 different holiday songs with the members requesting that members sing-a-long if they knew the words. The choir was comprised of 14 students with two solo presentations. The program was both memorable and may be remembered for the jolly attitude shared by the group. The program was concluded with the UHS fight song. President Wilcox announced that the club would be making a contribution of $300 to the program.
