Jonathan VazquezPerez 9158678895 [email protected] Core Values & Mission Statement I operate under a philosophy of always continually improving myself to reach the next level, not only in my professional endeavors but in my life in general, it is because of this that I carry this value as a deeply embedded habit, I’m always asking myself about a particular situation or task and what can be done to make it more effective and more streamlined. This is why I seek to further my education, seek out careers and employment opportunities that allow me to grow and challenge myself. Apart from this I consider myself intelligent; able to hold paradoxical scenarios in my mind and understand nuanced points. I also believe in teamwork and understand how collaboration can lead to the creation of amazing things in business and especially a field where discovery is of high value like science and healthcare. What drives me at the end of the day is to better humanity and society, to contribute my faculties both mental and physical to create a better place for us all. This is why I strive to be my best because I know that to accomplish the goals and visions I have I need to be at my best. Goals: Find a job for which I can provide great work for and have a source of income while I study for the GRE (Graduate Records Examination) Take the GRE mid September Come October 2015 start applications for graduate programs in Molecular Biology for admission in fall 2016 Stay active mentally by studying for leisure in topics I am deeply curious and fascinated by Network and meet likeminded people so as to form interdependent, winwin relationships, to uplift each other and reach goals as a team collectively Educate myself more about business, industry, economics and the politics behind my field of interest Cultivate leadership and mentor mindsets that will lead towards me being able to effectively inspire and lead by example a team My long term goal and purpose of going to graduate school and earning a PhD are ultimately to have my own laboratory as I am very passionate about science and innovation, perhaps start a biotechnology company
