Habitat for Humanity International is partnering with churches, small groups, service clubs and other organizations to continue rebuilding a community in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, that was damaged by a tornado.

    The city received a great deal of response immediately after the devastation in April 2011, but there is still a lot of work left to do. Your group can participate in Habitat for Humanitys Mission Rebuild program and help build homes and hope in Tuscaloosa.

    The details

    This weekly, year-round program seeks groups of10-30 participants who will arrive on Sunday, buildMonday-Friday, and depart on Saturday.

    Teams will help construct new homes and docritical repairs on others.

    The cost is $500 per person, which includes materialsand construction supervision, lodging and most meals.Groups must provide their own transportation toTuscaloosa and throughout the week.
