The Jackrabbit Factor: Why You Can

What’s your vision? Two things will try to get in the way:

1.  Distractions 2.  Lack of resources

ALL distractions fade when…

…you know who you really are.

You’re already on the path! It doesn’t have to be a frantic search. Trust that Heavenly Father is already guiding you to it. Going about regular life and doing well all that you’re already doing is sufficient to bring you there. Your job is to roll, and you will be steered.

(You can’t steer a parked car!)

At the end of our days, we’ll only remember the things that really mattered. That’s why we must think about and focus on what really matters now.

“In times of change, the learners will inherit the earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped

to deal with a world that no longer exists.”

- Eric Hoffer !

Change The only real constant

What are these?

Parallel Lines

How many points are on the line?

Infinite number of points

How many points exist at the

intersection of these lines?

Exactly one.

THEN they changed the rules with Non-Euclidean Geometry

THEN they changed the rules with Non-Euclidean Geometry

IF:

Each pair of lines has exactly one point in common.

Each point is incident with exactly 2 lines.

There exist exactly four distinct lines.

Prove:

  There exist exactly 6 points

There exist exactly 3 points on each line.

Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape!

D&C 130:21-22 There is a law, irrevocably decreed in heaven before the foundations of this world, upon which all blessings are predicated—And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated.

If you need to make parallel lines meet (if you must do the “impossible”) …

See it done.

Apollo 13 – you already have all that you need

YOU have a mission to fulfill The world wants you to think you’re not good enough,

not smart enough...

Once there lived a village of creatures along the bottom of a great crystal river.

The current of the river swept silently over them all – young and old, rich and poor, good and evil, the current going it’s own way, knowing only it’s own crystal self.

Each creature in it’s own manner clung tightly to the twigs and rocks of the river bottom, for clinging was their way of life, and resisting the current what each had learned from birth.

But one creature said at last, ‘I am tired of clinging. Though I cannot see it with my eyes, I trust that the current knows where it is going. I shall let go and let it take me where it will. Clinging, I shall die of boredom.’

The other creatures laughed and said, ‘Fool! Let go, and that current you worship will throw you tumbled and smashed against the rocks, and you will die quicker than boredom!’

But the one heeded them not, and taking a breath did let go, and at once was tumbled and smashed by the current across the rocks.

Yet in time, as the creature refused to cling again, the current lifted him free from the bottom, and he was bruised and hurt no more.

And the creatures downstream, to whom he was a stranger, cried

‘See a miracle! A creature like ourselves, yet he flies!’
