Team Accurate has added another

feather in its success cap and set a

milestone in 20th Annual NASA the

Great Moon Buggy race -2013 at

Huntsville, Alabama, USA and made

India proud by winning Moon Bowl-A

lunar Science Quiz conducted on

Thursday, April 25 at US Space and

Rocket Centre, Huntsville, Alabama,

leaving behind contestants from all the

108 teams across the world.

The quiz was conducted to test the

participants' knowledge of the moon.

The Moon Bowl consisted of questions

about the moon's various physical

characteristics: orbital elements;

temperature and radiation

environments; chemistry; exosphere;

magnetism; cratering; and geology, as

well as topics regarding its formation

and evolution.

The Moon Bowl followed Single

Elimination Bracket format. All teams

competed in the first round, with the

winner of each pair progressing to the

next round. Points were awarded to the

team that correctly answered a

question before the opposing team, by

pressing the buzzer first. A correct

answer was awarded one point. An

incorrect answer earned no points, and

the opposing team was offered the

chance to answer. Once a team

member had pressed the buzzer, the

team had five seconds to answer, at

which point the opposing team also

might answer. Each round consisted of

10 questions.

Accurate schedule placement season every year. Our students work in industry for one of the two semesters in their final year as

part of the Practice School programme and are available only part of the time on campus. Details of the profiles of students

available for placement in each season can be found two months.

Process Driven Placement SystemOver time our placement process has been refined to make recruitment as simple as possible for students and companies alike.

The life cycle of the placement process is:

• We contact companies about 2 months ahead of the placement schedule.

• Companies provide us with the necessary data through a Job announcement form

• We scrutinize the requirements and then establish dialogue with the companies.

• We fix a mutually convenient date and time for the presentation & selection process.

• We announce the visit along with the details provided by the company in the announcement form to the students.

• We ask eligible students who are interested in the job to apply for the job a week before the visit.

• We provide essential details of applicants to the company.

• The company re-confirms travel plan a week before the allocated visit date. We book accommodation for company at the

Guesthouse within the campus.

• Student Volunteers are allocated to take care of the logistics throughout the company's stay on campus.

• After the results are announced by the company, students sign the offer letter and a copy is forwarded to the company.
