occasion Shri Shrichand Kriplani, honourable Urban

distributed course completion certificates and job offer letters
to DDU-GKY pass out candidates.
Quality Training in 5 Job Roles at B-ABLE Jakaram Centre
B-ABLE is imparting quality Training at its Jakaram Skill Development Centre in Telangana. Here we
are focusing on equipping learners with focused technical skills to build their capabilities for lifelong
employability. and making them dearn their own sustainable livelihood. From August 2017 total 301
candidates have completed their training in diverse sectors as, Computing and Peripherals – 66, Self
Employed Tailor – 102, Beauty Therapist – 53, Quality Seed Grower -57, Mobile Repairing – 23.
B-ABLE Jakaram centre has well-furnished classrooms and fully equipped labs.

B-ABLE Chief Operating Officer Mr. Pankaj Jindal along with Field Manager-School Program: Ms. Jyoti
Sharma, visited B-ABLE NSQF schools in Chhattisgarh in November. B-ABLE’s work in the space of
Agriculture has been applauded, as Vocational Trainers have contributed immensely in making field
visits of the students innovative. The efforts taken by the Vocational Trainers of B-ABLE have also been
appreciated by the principals of their respective schools and Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan
(RMSA) Chhattisgarh officials. B-ABLE is imparting skill training in 83 schools across Chhattisgarh in
two trades Healthcare and Agriculture.

QA Team conducted life skill and technical
training program at Gurgaon. Mr. Bhagwan

B-ABLE & RMSA Bridge Course in Automobile Sector
Aiming at enhancing the skills of the students, B-ABLE along with
RMSA Maharashtra conducted a 45 days Bridge Course in
Automobile trade for three schools in Nagpur division.
The completion certificates were also distributed to the students
at the end of the course.

COO Visit at B-ABLE Opsan Angira CNC Centre
To examine the growth of the project and interact with
students, B-ABLE COO Mr. Pankaj Jindal visited Opsan
Angira CNC Centre on November 15, 2017. This B-
ABLE centre has a record of 100% placement for the
past two years. Candidates here get free training,
lodging and placement support under Nalanda
Foundation CSR skill initiative.
New Course Started Under

Initiative
B-ABLE with Nalanda Foundation
started a new course of Assistant
Beauty Therapist with 30 women at
MHFA, Noida centre. Batch
inauguration was done by Mr. Nikhil
Chandra, Business Head-MLP.
Minimum 8th standard pass women
candidates above 18 years of age are
eligible for this 2 months course. The
course is funded
by The Nalanda Foundation with 70%
placement target. Candidates receive
B&WSSC certification + Rs. 1500/-
stipend after successful completion of
course. Mr.Kuldeep Singh, project
manager and Mr.Bhagwan Pandey, Co-
ordinator are very much careful for
the successful execution and
completion of the course.
Record Placement at B-ABLE Opsan Angira Centre
CNC operator fifth batch of Nalanda Foundation at
B-ABLE Opsan Angira Centre got graduated on December
17, 2017. All the 22 candidates now have the opportunity
to work in reputed automotive companies like SPM
Automotive, Tasa Automotive and Kapbros Engineering
Industries Ltd. The Nalanda Foundation’s program here
is mainly focused on training and placement with
residential facility for the underprivileged and
unemployed youth of rural and semi urban areas.

Centres' retail students at Baburpur. The
interview was conducted for
the recruitment of online grocery stores
of New Delhi, Faridabad,
Ghaziabad & Gurgaon. HR persons
from Reliance Mr. Naresh Kumar and Mr.
Devendra conducted the interviews.

The school students showcased their talent and creativity through different models which they had prepared with the help of vocational training in the agriculture trade.

B-ABLE in Vocational Education Fair
In the Vocational Education Fair conducted in Guntur on November 3, B-ABLE demonstrated Charts
& Models and also teaching methodologies & activities. AP’s Social Welfare Minister was the Guest of
Honour there in the event.
B.Ravindra Kumar and M.Vivek from APSWRS-Krishnaraopalem
School Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh made their entry to the
state level science competition. They reached this place after
winning FUTURON-2017 Zonal Level Competition and Science Fair
Exhibition Competition under RMSA.
They got the second prize in the zonal level whereas made it to the
1st place in Science Fair Competition.
The students owe their success to the guidance of B-ABLE
Vocational Trainer Muppa.Venkatadri. Nodal Officer M.Anil Kumar
is the vice-principal and M.Venkateswararao is the Principal of their
school.

Hard Work of the Team-Makes a Project Successful
A team of tireless and innovative minds having a well-defined goal along with series of small wins,
set the foundation to a grand success. This Eye mitra Team 26 with the support of trainers, co-
ordinators and mobilizers is executing B-ABLE Eye Mitra project-the best skill development
programs for creating employment.
With the funding partner Essilor (2.5 New Vision Generation), Eye Mitra entrepreneurial program
has now been scaled up with 15 operational centres - 11 in UP and 4 in Rajasthan. Approximately 4.7
million refractions have been done till December 2017. 7.4 lakhs people have availed the services of
vision testing in the villages itself in the last quarter whereas3.3 lakhs people purchased quality
spectacles on affordable prices. In the month of December, 354 new EMOs opened their shops which
make the cumulative figure of 3124 Eye Mitra Opticians till date.

Prakash Kaur visited Madhya
Pradesh Schools. She
conducted evaluation
meetings with staff and
management, school and
classroom visits of the same.
These types of actions create a positive impact for the future progress and motivate the trainers and
students too.

AP: The fiels visits in Andhra Pradesh were captured in a video. The video got appreciation in the
education fair conducted by RMSA AP.
Punjab: A rose cultivation video captured by Mr. Beant Singh. Vocational trainer, GSSS Sandehashim
was showcased in ToT held in Chandigarh and got immense appreciation from RMSA officials.

Grower in Agriculture Sector at
Boxanagar - Tripura under PMKVY 2.0.
Mobilization ensures that the project, programme or portfolio has appropriate organisational and
technical infrastructures and mechanisms for putting resources in place. Along with other teams,
appreciable mobilization activities were done by B-ABLE EyeMitra and DDU-GKY Project teams to
motivate candidates to get skilled for earning their sustainable livelihood.

Children’s day celebrations at B-ABLE NSQF
Schools
Wonderful celebrations and activities were done by
B-ABLE NSQF students PAN India on Children’s day. All
B-ABLE NSQF schools celebrated this day by organizing
cultural programs. It was the day when all children got
engaged in fun and frolic.
The celebration involved various events, such as dance,
singing, reciting poems, exhibition of articles and
drawings made by children & many more.
B-ABLE celebrated Diwali Festival with a complete traditional feel. The office was
decked up with bright and colourful lights & Diyas. Everyone came dressed in their
ethnic best. The colleagues wished each other and shared the month watering
traditional sweets. A few games were also organized for fun.
Christmas was celebrated with great fun and Secret Santa at B-ABLE this year. The
preparation started with the office décor that was done according to the occasion. A
proper medium sized Christmas tree that was placed in the reception area. Everyone
was uniformly dressed in red colour and the celebration ended with the cake cutting
ceremony for employees
village Bahuaa Bajar in Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Before becoming an EMO,
Shailendra Singh was working as a photographer & was just able to meet his basic
livings. Being in a small village he never thought his life will get completely transformed
after becoming an EMO & this was made possible after he joined the program in Kanpur
training center. Today he is working with full enthusiasm & a source of inspiration to
many youths in his community. Shailendra’s journey is a true impact story of EMO
program on the changing lives of many such young entrepreneurs every year.

B-ABLE is proud to share the success story of
Shailendra Singh, an Eye Mitra Optician (EMO) from
Ankit Dubey from Faizabad (UP) after completing his training
from BASIX Academy for Building Lifelong Employability is now
well placed at Reliance Trends, Lucknow. He got admission in
Retail Trainee Associates course under Reliance Foundation
project after getting information from B-ABLE mobilizer.Ankit
had a family income merely of 5000/- pm from which they
hardly earned his livelihood. After completing this training from
B-ABLE he has now started earning 8500/- pm. Presently he is
working as Customer Sales Associates at Reliance SMSL Limited
(Reliance Trends) at Lucknow. Ankit is so pleased and thankful
for the training which he had attained via B-ABLE. He expressed,
‘I am very happy after getting job with the help of B-ABLE and
Reliance Foundation. I am now extending financial support to
my family and capable of sending 4000 rupees to my father. I
want to move ahead in the industry in future. I am very thankful
to both.’
