    BADM 350: IT for NetworkedOrganizations

    This introductory course teaches how IT affects andtransforms organizational and industry structures. Thiscourse is designed to make the students knowledgeable ofthe fundamentals underlying the design, implementation,

    control, evaluation and use of modern information systemsWhile some of the effort will be devoted to hands-on workwith software, the major emphasis will be on theunderstanding the managerial and strategic aspects ofinformation technology. Case studies, simulations, hands-

    The corporations that hire our graduates usuallyknow their hiring needs a year in advance. Theybegin to recruit in September for positions theyhope to fill by the following August

    This means that students who expect to graduatefrom the program should begin interviewing withthe employers who visit our campus in Septemberof their senior year.

    In other words,it is neither foolish nor unwise

    tobegin interviewing for a permanent placement tenmonths before you expect to graduate
