Course

Mirvat Ahmad | Art and Craft Fun for Kids (3 - 5 years) and (6 - 12 years): Children have curious minds and a desire to discover. This course builds on cognitive skills, (how children understand and act in the world they live in), stimulates young minds and equips them independence and creativity through various art and craft projects. It helps them learn problem solving and critical thinking skills. By knowing that there is more than one right approach to any given problem, they learn to understand and appreciate develop multiple points of view. A creative “out of the box” thinking equips children with immediate confidence and pride as well as with greater success later in life.

Through various themed projects, the students will engage with various mediums like water colours, crayons, acrylic paints, fabric paints, chalk pastels, collage and clay to create various two dimensional and three dimensional outcomes.

Mirvat Ahmad – Mirvat has studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Damascus University and graduated from there in 2001. She is currently based in Dubai since 2006. She has participated in various exhibitions in the U.A.E and Syria including the Deerfields Art Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, the Cultural Heritage Exhibition/Symposium in Syria and the European Union Artistic Exhibition in Syria.

Duration: 1 hr | Saturdays: 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm and/or Mondays 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Fee: 4 sessions 340 AED | 8 sessions 600 AED

Materials Fee: approx. 70 AED for 4 sessions | approx. 120 AED for 8 sessions

6 -12 years

Duration: 1.5 hrs | Saturdays: 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm and/or Mondays 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm

Fee: 4 sessions 360 AED | 8 sessions 650 AED

Materials Fee: approx. 70 AED for 4 sessions | approx. 120 AED for 8 sessions
