On July 1969, only about four decades ago, three astronauts (The Apollo 11 crew Nail Armstrong, Michael Collins, and Buzz Aldrin) from USA were able to landed on the Moon (launched on July 16, 1969 and landed on July 20, 1969), the closest sub planate from the Earth, and the distance was only 2,32,000 miles from the Earth. It is considered as a great victory for mankind.

In 2007 NASA’s scientists were able to send a rocket (Phoenix) to the Mars and collected soil, metrological as well as other information (Fig. illustrated below). The rocket send to the Mars was very speedy, 3 to 6 km / second and it took about 10 months (launched in August 2007 and landed on May / June 2008) to reach on the Mars. NASA’s scientists from the Earth (Arizona, USA) used a remote control system and controlled the movement of the Phoenix.

If any problem encounter either the Phoenix or any inner instruments, scientist from the Arizona, USA were able fixed by using their remote controlled system. Can you imagine how far the human knowledge has reached? Scientists sit in this Earth, push their remote button and able to fix the movement of rocket on the Mars which is 50 million miles from the Earth. Mars discovery also considered as a great victory for the Mankind

Allah (SWT) in His Holy Book “Al-Quran that” I have given very little knowledge to Human being” Ya ma wotitum minal ilmi illa kalila” (in Arabic, Kalil mean little, Kalila means very little).

For example Allah (SWT) mentioned in the Holy Quran that He created 7 skies, [Sura Nabaa: 78: 12

KNOWLEDGE COMPARISION

Meaning: And We have built above you seven strong heavens / firmaments / skies]. but until now scientists have no any information about those 7 sky’s, even they don’t have any clear idea about the 1st sky .

621 AD, 27th Rajab our beloved Prophet (PBUH) performed Miraj / Isra /The Night Journey (Miraj means steers / steps, the word Miraj derived from the word “woroj” means travel up). Our beloved Prophet (PBUH) was able to descend on all 7 sky’s / heavens as well as was able to travel onto Sidratul Muntaha and Arsh-e-Ajeem. It took only some part of a night (“lylum”).

Our beloved Prophet mentioned that the distance between Earth and heaven is 500 years, the distance from one heaven to another is 500 years, the distance from 7th heaven to Kursi is 500 years, the distance between Kursi and water reason is 500 years, the Thorn is above the water (reported by Abu Dawud and others).

HOW LONG PROPHET’S MIRAJ WAS

Meaning: Glory to (Allah) Who did take His servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque, whose precincts We did bless,- in order that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things).

QURANIC PROOF OF PROPHETS MIRAJ

The Holy Quran ststed that He (SWT) showed Prophet Abraham (AS) the power and the laws of the heavens and the Earth, that he might (with understanding) have certitude.

Meaning: So also did We show Abraham the power and the laws of the heavens and the earth, that he might (with understanding) have certitude. (Sura Anam: 6: 75 ).

Prophet Ibrahim’s Journy

When Prophet (PBUH) reached Al-Bait-ul-Ma'mur, it was described that seventy thousand (70,000) veils of light was removed from in front of Allah (SWT), only one remained and Prophet (PBUH) was very closed to Allah (SWT) like two bow-length, but did not see His (SWT) face which is mentioned in the Holy Quran.

Meaning: And was at a distance of but two bow-lengths or (even) nearer. (Sura Najm 53: 9)

HOW CLOSE PROPHET WAS

When our Beloved Prophet (PBUH) reached close to Allah (SWT), then conversation started, the conversation was Tashahud which You and I recite in our daily prayers.

During Prophets Night journey, Allah, Almighty, ordered him to pray five times a day. This prayer was a gift given to every Believer to enable him to experience a spiritual ascension five times a day. The Prophet said: "The prayer is the Mi'raj of the Believer." It gives every Muslim am opportunity to communicate with Allah (SWT).

PROPHETS CONVERSATION WITH ALLAH

Laylatul-Mi'raj, is considered as one of the holy night in Islam. Please try to recite the Holy Quran and pray some Nafal Namaaz. Please ask Allah (SWT) to forgive all of our sins and make dua for every Muslims including their parents and relatives who are alive or dead. Also make dua for our beloved Prophet, His family members, followers as well as for whole Muslim Ummah.

WHAT WE HAVE TO DO

From the above statement we came to know that it took four (4) days (to cross 2,32000 miles) NASA’s astronauts to reach on the surface of the Moon. On the other hand our beloved prophet crossed the seven (7) sky’s and finally reached to the Devine Thorn of Allah (SWT) and returned in this Earth with in a small part of night (lylum in Arabic,). According to our beloved Prophet’s statement it takes 500 years just to cross one sky. Now we can compare our modern science & technology vs1400 years’ old Technology of our beloved Prophet. Which one is more advance?

JUSTIFICATION

Miraj was really a miraculous journey arranged by Allah (SWT) and we have to believe that Allah (SWT) is completely free from any kind of limitation. He (SWT) is the owner of the Earth and the Heavens. He is the supreme power. Human knowledge is very limited compared to Allah’s (SWT) knowledge [like a single droplet of water compared to the water of seven Oceans].
