warrantyRockford Corporation offers a limited warranty on all CrimeStopper products as detailed below and on the following terms:ALL SAFETY PRODUCTS Length Of Warranty - 3 YearSECURITY AND REMOTE START PRODUCTS Length Of WarrantyLimited Lifetime, CrimeStopper will repair or replace defective modules with a comparable new or refurbished module during reasonable usage and the lifetime of the vehicle in which it is originally installed provided that the module is returned to Rockford, shipping pre-paid and accompanied by a legible copy of the original sales receipt from the authorized dealer containing; the consumer’s name, authorized dealer’s name, date of purchase, item or sku number, product description, and the year make and model of the vehicle in which it is installed. The additional componentry of the system, including but not limited to remotes, antennas and harnesses, are covered by a one year warranty from the date of original purchase. Products received for repair or replacement without proof of purchase from an authorized dealer will be denied.WHAT IS COVEREDThis warranty applies only to CrimeStopper products sold to consumers by authorized CrimeStopper dealers in the United States of America Products purchased by consumers from an Authorized CrimeStopper Dealer in any other country are covered only by that country’s Distributor and not by Rockford Corporation.WHO IS COVEREDThis warranty covers only the original purchaser of CrimeStopper product purchased from an authorized CrimeStopper dealer. In order to receive service, the purchaser must provide Rockford Corporation with a copy of the original sales receipt stating the customer name, dealer name, product purchased and date of purchase. The MIR-DVR is designed as a universal rear-view mirror replacement with the added features of a built-in, dual channel DVR. The front facing camera is built into the mirror housing creating a stealth look while an additional reverse camera can be added and viewed on the mirrors integrated screen. The MIR-DVR comes with a variety of mounting adaptors for your vehicle or the optional MIR-BRKT437 may be needed in select installations.

BLACK - GROUND This wire needs to be grounded to a clean, paint free metal surface of the vehicle. The best installation practices recommend grounding in the kick panel area of the vehicle.

To save space on the memory card you may choose to activate the Auto Detect feature. When activated the mirror will start recording if the camera sees motion when powered on instead of continuous recording.

The G-Sensor activates with a sudden change in acceleration or impact often being triggered in a crash or by the vehicle being hit. G-Sensor triggered recordings are locked and can only be deleted by reformatting the SD card.

Adjusts how sensitive the G-Sensor is. HIGH = Very Sensitive. LOW = Not Very Sensitive.

This DVR rear view mirror can display two channel video on the high brightness screen simultaneously. You can switch the video channel by pressing the “UP” button when not recording.
This requires a secondary camera such as a backup camera to be connected and active while powered up.

Photograph mode allows you to take snap shots by pressing the “SEL/REC“ button on the remote.

Videos displaying the LOCK symbol in the lower left corner means the video is hard coded to the SD card. It can be played but can only be deleted by formating the SD card. This will erase everything on the SD card.

A BLACK camera icon in the upper right corner indicates that video is not currently being recorded. The numbers at the bottom of the screen will be in WHITE and show the remaining recording time available.

When recording, the camera in the upper right corner will turn from BLACK to YELLOW. The time in the bottom center of the screen will change from WHITE to RED and begin counting up from zero indicating current recording time.
