The structure is mainly a timber framed structure. The idea comes out as been an educational accommodation space. visible construction adds to the educational aspect as it informs the design and technology. The main technology that supports the additional idea, is the gym construction and the open air stage area. Due to the combinations of primary materials, the technology influenced the idea of sections of the structure. The dormitories are enclosed spaces thus design developed from plywood and timber. Structure raised- developed from structural foundations led by tires, concrete and timber.Ablution- the function led to the materials and technology, this different masonry uses instead of timber etc. Conclusion: the technology played a role in developing and supporting the building.

Modimo o Moholo's idea is to host care and training programmers' for the disabled. Similarly as stated in Masibanbane building, exposed technology and construction adds to the educational theme of the centre. As a centre for the disabled, movement is important. At this centre the technology further supports the idea which is circulation and easy movement around, making the workshop central. As a building for training, an open plan workshop supports the idea of training and learning ( group learning ).

This crèche carries a great idea of children's education. A structure which holds much aspects of educational learning and stimulation for kindergartens. The building's technology thus supports the ideas. Different levels result in the stimulation of the children's spatial experiences. The construction of forms also adds education about varies views and angles for the children. The technology also played a role in developing the idea further, a crèche been also a place of educational play, construction of jungle-gym, slide, ramps from lightweight materials, integrated the building and playground.Different age groups need to be separated, thus construction of separate rooms, resulting in informative learning for each age group. Yet though separate, the idea of a reach resulted in unifying structures thus the technology of the veranda as a construction of all the structures= supporting the idea.

Judging from the location and organization of rooms, one of the main ideas was to divide age groups. The technology thus has support the idea in the manner of construction and situation of the crèche. The building is built in a linear footprint making the building the dividing line between the two play grounds.Yet learning involves interaction and the sliding doors, pivoting walls, rotating walls and windows enable open plan, interaction of the children also leading into the transition of spaces. Another factoring idea is protection for the children , which is developed by the technology of the veranda and overhangs, covering spaces which enable the children to play freely, yet feel protected and secure. The use of additional colourful materials as part of the technology develops the idea of creativity and fun to stimulate the minds of kindergarteners.

The Montic Factory crèche shares similar characteristics as that of the Thembelihle crèche. The building's main idea is child care and education in a protected, secure, diverse yet communal and playful environment. These ideas are clearly developed and supported by the technology and construction of the building. Linear structuring and construction dividing play from learning. Degree of enclose also divides the classrooms from the play areas. Partitioning enables for large groups and also small interaction, thus broaden the scope of learning. Verandas and overhangs add security, shaded areas. Innovative designing of internal timber paneling adds creativity and stimulates imagination of the children as this panels provide a range of shelving and storage possibilities. The simplicity of the design, as for the technology encompasses the basic ideas of learning and sheltering for pre-schoolers.

The technology supports the idea which were intended for this building. This been the final crèche , it culminated the principles, concepts and ideas of all the other buildings. The positioning of the different structures developed the idea of integrating them to each other and the surroundings. It seems as though one of the dominating ideas was learning through play, and the technology developed that is the manner of constructing a deconstructivist building, movement enhanced by the longevity of the structure. The large roof covering which incorporated steel into the dominating plywood construction due to the scale and also strengthening as the roof is also part of playing. The technology of incorporating and adding colourful skylights added a playful touch, other stimulating experiences such as the seating, niches and landings incorporated into the design. Also the degree of enclosure of certain parts allowed for freedom of creativity and more playful learning experiences.
