MINUTES WARSAW 17 - 09 - 2013

Members from the nine Foodprint counties gather at the Polish headquaters to discussdeadlines, outcomes and organisation matters for the second year of our Grundtviglearning partnership.

10:00 a.m.

- Ela welcomes everyone and shows the office which is shared by another association.

- Carlos sweetens the meeting with a bit of Galician cake which everybody enjoys.

- The register with signatures and participation certificates are handed out.

- Documentaries: Estonia and Finland should send in their documenaries and summarry ofthe FINEST meeting with pictures before the end of October. The Polish documentaryand summary before the end of November.

- The third outcomes (song, recipe, story and proverb should be sent to each coordinatorbefore December 31st. Remember to underline the 10 words, add pictures and find ayoutube link to the song.

- The deadline for the 4th and final outcomes will be April 30th.

* The dates are deadlines but everything can be sent before these dates.

- Ela will send our Portuguese colleagues the pictures of this meeting.

- The final date for the visit to Turkey is from 6th to 10th April 2014. There are 320 km toCanakkale from Istanbul. The bus schedule is at 14:00 at Istanbul airport and there arebuses from Canakkale to Istanbul every hour and trains to the airport in 20 minutes. 

- Oral will organise the bus depending on the arrival times but he recommends to find anearly as posdible arrival.

- Partners arrive on the 6th. Internal meeting in the hotel on the 7th in the morning snd citytour in the afternoon. On the 8th we will visit an open air market where all products are sofresh. On the 9th we will visit Troy and that afternoon we will discuss the Potugal/Spainmeeting.

* Do not plan an early flight on the 10th due to the distance to Istanbul! 

- There is an underground connection to the airport from the Istanbul bus terminal.

- Remember to send interesting links from our countries and references for facebook andtwitter!

- Evaluation of Finest meeting: Everyone was satisfied; a great success.

 

 - Ela organises the rest of the day and the followingbday for those who leave later.

- The idea of having three vans was applauded.

- Everone has 4 weeks to fill in the evaluation forms on the "for partners only" section ofour blog.

- Each country should contribute with a small sample of goods ( non perishable) for theFoodprint fair in Spain in June. You can either send the by post or bring them to Turkeyand the Spanish members will take them ( do not exceed 4/5 kg). No alcohol is permitedinside the prisom

- The last meeting in Portugal/Spain will be from June 6th to the 12th. How you godepends on you, you can fly to one country and return from the other ( best option if yourNA is fine with this) or fly to and from the same country.

- We decide not to go ahead with the Portuguese book proposal due to financial reasonsamong others.
