Minutes of Meeting 27/5/2011 - Accreditation of Hospitals

1. Meeting regarding accreditation of hospitals was held on 27/5/2011. MD

PHSC, MD NRHM and others were present. Following decisions were taken in

this meeting: -

2. NABH Accreditation- Following 6 hospitals be taken up-

(i) Amritsar

(ii) Jalandhar

(i) Mohali

(ii) Patiala

(iii) Bathinda

(iv) Ludhiana (MD PHSC)

3. Hospital Administrator- Hospital Administrators be recruited for all

the 6 hospitals. It appears that there is no Hospital Administrator for Civil

Hospital, Amritsar. (MD PHSC)

4. Review- MD PHSC is requested to strengthen and monitor the review

mechanism. None of the Hospital Administrators and Medical Supdts had

completed the list of activities along with time schedule which has to be

completed for seeking NABH accreditation. The Medical Supdt, Civil Hospital,

Jalandhar had prepared such a list but even requires to be updated. Accordingly,

the meeting could not achieve the desired results and the discussion could not be

confined to the listed items. It is therefore, extremely important that a complete

list of activities be prepared without any delay and sent to the undersigned by

3/6/2011. The next meeting will be held on 13/6/2011 at 3:00 PM (MD PHSC)

5. Presentation- The format of presentation from the districts would be as

follows-

• Activities

• Time Schedule

• Progress (Started / Completed / Under Progress)

• Details (if required in a separate sheet)

• Integration wherever felt necessary (MD PHSC)

6. ISO Certification- We had also signed an agreement with ISO

Certification. It appears that there is no progress after signing of agreement by

the then MD NRHM. MD NRHM to study the file and put up the list of activities

along with time schedule by 3/6/2011. (MD NRHM)
