Committee of Inquiry to investigate alleged contraventions and maladministration in the applicationof Union law in relation to money laundering, tax avoidance and tax evasion, for its mandate to beextended for three months.

This extension was necessary to enable the committee to implement fully and correctly its mandate,as adopted by Parliament on 8 June 2016, given the number of documents remaining to beexamined, the analyses requested, and the various stakeholders still needing to be heard.

Parliament agreed to the extension.
