Mint Riviera Baume & Mercier Geneve in stainless steel with white dial and date at 6 o’clock. The dial comes with Arabic numerous and the hands in stainless steel. The luminous are perfect on the hands as well as the dots for each index. The crown has the company logo. In the case back, comes the following engraving: “Baume&Mercier Geneve” – Stainless Steel - # MV045163 – 2782434. Water resistant 50 Meters. It is a quartz movement and the battery has been replaced.The watch comes with the original band as well as the limited warranty certificate card, booklet, box and a few links. This watch could be a beautiful gift. In 1834, the Baume family founded the company “Baume Freres”. In 1844, Joseph Celestin Baume went to England to set up business relations whom opened doors to introduce watches signed “Waterloo”, “Diviko” and “Sirdar” to new markets. In 1893, the company won the timing competition at the Kew-Teddington observatory with a score of 91.9 out of 100. In 1912, William Baume met with Paul Mercier and in 1918 formed the establishment of “Baume & Mercier” in Geneva. After the war Constantin de Gorski joins the company and focus on conventional men’s watches, sports-chronographs and ladies jewelry watches. In 1965, Piaget took over the company. From the 1970’s the company invest on quartz movement. In 1993, the Cartier Group became sole owners of Piaget and Baume & Mercier.
