Project Aim : Making Night football gear range with Glow in the dark materials. Inspirations : Brazil carnival, Diamond pattern, Snake skin, Gecko palm, Fluorescent colour

This is my imaginary project which is making night football gear range with glow in the dark materials for Nike. The titile of concept is carnival night. It was inspired by motivation of people who play football in London. Most of people played football for their enjoyment. They feel happy and fun while they are playing football with their friends or colleagues so football is like their party and carnival. Therefore, the main design inspirations are Party, Brazil carnival , Diamond pattern. bight colour like fluorescent colour.In addition, There are more functional inspirations from reptiles like Snake skin and Gecko palm for enhancing the performance ability.There are a lot of people who play football at night time in London . They play foot-ball after their work and school however, there are not enough facilities to take all of the people especially, in big cities like London so this project purpose is making a new technology recreational sport and night football gear with glow in the dark ma-terials so the people could play football at night without lights and any problems so that we could save electric energy and besides,This night football activiity could give more fun to the people while they are playing football with their friends. Furthermore, The supporting materials will be used to create this new sport such as LED ball , glow in the dark goal posts and lines. These are going to be packable. Therefore, It will be really easy to set up in the any places. however for this collection, the glow in the dark football gear range look will be shown with printing way except T-shirt and shorts due to fabric limitation.

Technology of the garment fabric . -Glow in the dark fabric & night football kit top toiling and testing The fabric yarn is made of process of melting and extruding polyester and nylon based plastic chips with photoluminiscent pigments. The glow in the dark fabric emits 6-8 hours in total darkness after absorbing sunlight for 3 mintues or any electronic light 10-20 minutes. This light absorbing - emitting process can be repeated indefinitely.The luminious material in glow in the dark yarn is non toxic , harmless and free from any substance, with deodorization activity, bacteria resitance and emissivity of far - infrare ray.

The fabric is saving any lights. (Made a sample with glow in the dark fabric )
It turns to be glow in the dark after it saves lights for 3~5 minutes . (This is not fully charged)

Got functional inspirations from reptiles and applied these functional ideas to my products
Line up2014/15 Nike Glow in the dark foot-ball gear collection designed by Minjun Kim This is line up for the collection. It is composed of T-shirt , Shorts , Tight tee , Leggings ,Training Jack-et, Trousers , Bench coat. All the garments were designed by performance needs . “Form follows function “
I was keep reminding this words while I was developing this design range so each of garments have functions depends on activities. The glow in the dark fabric could not be used for making whole col-lection because of the fabric limita-tion as it was already mentioned in the begging so the glow in the dark look is shown by printing ways .

- Gusset installed in underarms part for giving extra arm movements. It is also mesh fabric for ventilation. (See picture 1 ) -Opening on the side of T-shirt for kicking activity ( see picture 1, 2 ) - Photoluminescent embroidery brand logo on the chest . ( reflect glow in the dark at night )- Heat press name and Number, brand slogan .
Special features of Shorts
-Gusset installed under the shorts for giving more free extra movments to players and it is also mesh fabric so this area is vetilated (See picture 3 ) -Opening on the side of Shorts for kicking activity ( See picture 1,3)-Photoluminescent embroidery brand logo on the chest . ( reflect glow in the dark at night )

- Gusset installed in underarms for giving extra movement and there are invisible zipper on the both side of underarms for opening to ventilate the area. ( See picture 3 ) -Welt zipper pockets on the body for putting values. -Photoluminescent embroidery brand logo on the chest . ( reflect glow in the dark at night ) -Double side zipper on the front for siting comfortably on the bench

- Double side zipper so it can be opened top and bottom ways it gives extra movement . ( see picture 2 )- Opening on the sides . It makes comfortable when players sit on the bench with full zip up condition ( see picture 1,3 ) - Reflective heat press brand logo .- Zipper pocket on the chest for putting valuable items like key. - Snap buttons on the cover - Zipper pockets on the body - protecting hands from the cold weather and also we can put values -Hood for protecting head from the cold weather condition.-Rip finishing on the cuffs -Welt zipper Pockets on the body for putting values.
