(Additional Mini Platform CPP Project)

1. SCOPE OF WORK

This work method provides a base guideline for contractor personnel to do the additional Mini

Platform CPP Project in CPP location.

The scope covers:

1. Prepared material, tools and equipment.

2. Install scaffolding.

3. Install lifting gear.

4. Install Mini Platform structure, grating and handrail

5. Modification existing hand rail.

6. Remove scaffolding.

3. GENERAL

2.1 Purpose

The purpose of this procedure is to describe the general requirement for Lifting /

Rigging to Deck Extension and follow safety procedure.

2.2 Tools and Equipment Requirement

Web Sling Capacity 2 Ton x 4 Meter Length c/w Master Link. 4 Ea

Chain block SWL 2 Ton 2 Ea

Shackles Capacity 4 Ton 4 Ea

Hand Tools such as Wrench, Hammer, etc. 1 Set

Manila Rope (@=10 Meter Length) 4 Ea

Hand pallet 2 Ea

2.3 Man Power Requirement

Supervisor 1 Person

Fitter 1 Person

Crane Operator (Certificate) 1 Person

Rigger (Certificate) 3 Person

Signal Man for Rigging (Experiment & Certificate) 1 Person

Safety Officer 1 Person

Helper 2 Person

4. WORK METHOD

Sequence of work will be described as follow:

A. Preparation

1. Prepare material, tools and equipment.

2. Moving tools & equipment to work area.

B. Install Scaffolding

1. Prepare scaffolding material tools & equipment and put at near work area.

2. Install scaffolding for work access.

3. Install the scaffolding at all work area.

C. Install Lifting gear

1. Prepare lifting tools & equipment and put at near work area.

2. Install lifting gear for lift mini platform

3. Lifting gear function test

D. Install mini platform frame structure, grating and handrail

1. Prepare material tools & equipment and transfer material from lay down area to work area

(Main deck).

2. Transfer material Mini platform at work area using trolley. Work area is above of gang

way.

3. Lifting and install leg support mini platform. (make sure scaffolding has been installed).

4. Lifting structure frame mini platform and install or join with leg support.

5. Install grating to frame structure mini platform.

6. Install hand rail and ladder to frame structure mini platform.
