Love Lindsey & Zoe Brust Sending our appreciation of support to Rev. and Mrs. Wheeler who brought a prayer shawl for Ronnie prior to his surgery. Also to Rev. Wheeler for sitting with me during the surgery and his daily visits with Ron. Ladies of the needles, the shawl for Ron and the 2nd for our granddaughter are made with love and faith. Thank you all, Ron & Diane Phillips Rev. & Mrs. Wheeler, Thank you so much for the prayer shawl. I wanted to thank you and those of you from the church that make the shawls. The surgery went well and I am healing well, too. Hope-fully, this will be the final procedure. Your thoughtfulness is very well appreciated. Brianna Phillips We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for thinking of us and providing the cookies and tea! Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated and we are truly blessed. The Minerva Local Schools Administrative Office and Bus Garage Staff I would like to thank Pastor Harley and everyone for their phone calls, prayers, cards, and offers of help during my recent hospital stay. Marty Mong Dear Friends, We at Akron’s Ronald McDonald house are always pleased when we hear form you, our special friend. As you know it is due to your continued generosity that we are better able to serve the many families who find it necessary to use our “House That Love Built”. On behalf of the Board of Trustees of RMG of Akron, Inc., I want to express our deep appreciation for your most recent donation of the two $25 Bed, Bath & Beyond, the two $25 Target and the two $15 Little Caesar’s gift cards and the wish list items and pop tabs to our House. We truly appreciate your support! Sincerely yours, Anne Collins, Executive Director Thanks to the women of the church for such a delicious funeral dinner served for Barb Baker, Joh’s sister. Pat & John Alexander & Family Thank you to everyone who brought in items for the college care packages. We got in such a nice va-riety of items. Thank you so much. Cyndy Lawson Dear MUMC Family, Thank you so much for thinking of me during the end of this school year. I’m sure everything will taste yummy. I appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers as I go into finals and finish out the school year! Alexa Daulbaugh Today I received a package from my church. I had no idea what it's contents might be because it's been a while since I've been able to attend a service (disappointing, yes I know). Upon opening it, I realized that it was a care package. I just wanted to take the time to thank the Minerva United Method-ist Church for always keeping me in their thoughts and prayers. There's never a more loyal group of people than your church family. I love you guys, God bless! Macy Hawk

Our Produce/Food Program began its 6th year at our April 13th distribution.

We received from the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank 16, 741 pounds of produce and other food products on April 13th. It was an awesome, overwhelming morning

of sorting, bagging, and serving our food clients. We served 245 families with 688 family members in 3 hours. 185 families were served in-house and 60 families were served through home delivery. Amazing! Thank you exhausted volunteers. Each month, right up until we get started on distribution day we are never really sure how many volunteers we will have on hand. God does watch over this program and provides enough hands to handle the task. Thank you for your continued support. Blessings, Cheryl

Our next distribution is Thursday, May 11, 2017, 8am. Emergency Pantry In March we ended with having served 13 families with 43 family members. So far in April we have served 8 families with 33 family members. Blessings to those who support this program. Thank you
