Bradken is a leading supplier of high quality

Mill Liner Systems to suit AG/SAG, Ball and

Rod Mills. By utilising the latest technologies,

we aim to provide customers with an

advanced Mill Liner System that increases

mill performance and availability.

The optimised design of Bradken’s range of

Liner Systems offers a number of advantages

including a reduced number of parts, fewer

relines, quicker change out and assembly

and safer handling ultimately resulting in

a reduction to overall

maintenance costs.

SUPER LINERSBy increasing the area of each head liner and reducing the number

of components Bradken Super Liners provide increased operator

safety and minimised mill downtime by making liner change-outs a

faster and safer process.

VORTEX AND SUPER VORTEX Bradken Vortex Discharge End has been developed to encourage

early discharge of coarse product that travels down the pulp lifters

during each revolution. The Vortex improves product movement and

decreases the time to exit the discharge cone, reducing pulp lifter

wear and improving pulp discharge from the mill.

PEENING PAD OPTIONSReduces metal flow around grate slots, preventing them from

closing up and maintaining mill throughput levels.

COMBINED CORNER LINERSImproves safety due to fewer loose liners.

FEED END COMPOSITE LINERSWhite iron inserts encourage consistent wear on feed end liners

to match shut down cycles. This can extend the life of liners and

reduce the number of relines per year and ultimately minimise mill

downtime.

BULLNOSE INSTALLATION BENEFITSBradken Bullnose Discharge Cones are manufactured from superior

wear materials to extend wear life and maximise mill availability. The

Bullnose Discharge Cone is designed with a key system to ensure

the last discharge cone installed fits with ease and requires no

mating parts to be removed.

Bradken Bullnose® Discharge Cones are designed and manufactured from rubber and metal components

specifically for Mill Liner applications incorporating a design focused on ensuring the discharge cone

assembly can be installed in the most safe and efficient manner, whilst extending the life cycle and

producing maximum tonnes.

Bullnose Discharge Cones can be customised to suit your specific application and operating conditions

and by utilising the latest 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) modelling software, Bradken is able to

ensure Discharge Cone efficiency.

Bullnose Discharge Cones are manufactured from superior composite wear materials to extend wear life

of the liners, reduce weight and maximise mill availability. Each discharge cone design is tailor-made to

ensure safe handling, ease of installation and maximum performance.

The Vortex® Discharge End has been developed to encourage early discharge of coarse product that travels

The Discharge End (DE) pulp lifter is a critical component of autogenous (AG) and semi-autog-

enous (SAG) grinding mills, having a significant impact on the throughput, efficiency and perfor-

mance of mills. Underestimating the importance of an optimised liner design in a mill can lead to

back-flow and carry-over processes which can ultimately result in high wear, poor liner life and

reduced mill throughput.

Installing a Bradken Vortex Discharge End and optimised liner design can lead to significant im-

provements in mill performance including:

• increased hourly mill throughput

• increased average mill throughput (fresh feed), and

• increased average re-cycle load.

APRON FEEDER COMPONENTS

Through the use of advanced technology and material optimisation Bradken is able to supply long lasting

and high quality apron feeder components.

Replacing fabricated pans with cast pans increases overall performance and service life of the pans. To

maintain quality, each pan is press straightened and gauged prior to shipment. Sizes available range from

1 - 4 metres in length. Bradken pans have been proven under extreme working conditions below -20

degrees Celsius.
