Mindfulness at Work Using mindfulness to improve performance, leadership and wellbeing.
Course overview There is a growing interest in applying mindfulness in organisational settings. We have seen large companies such as SAP and Google teach mindfulness practice to their employees. But, what does this look like in practice and how might individuals use this approach to navigate their own business environments?
Evolve with QUTeX At the end of this session, participants who are new to mindfulness will be able to start a practice. Participants will be better equipped to design programs for mindfulness in their own organisational context and will be able to apply mindfulness to their own challenges.
Who should participate? This one-day workshop has been designed for individuals who are interested in the growing application of mindfulness to leading and succeeding in complex environments. No prior experience or training in this area is required for this course.
Certification At the end of the course, you'll receive a Certificate of Attendance documenting your participation in the course.

Your expert facilitators
Rachel Collis Rachel is an experienced executive coach and facilitator who teaches negotiation skills on the QUT EMBA program. She has a background in medicine and psychiatry and is particularly interested in evidenced-based approaches to leadership development.
Dr Brett Heyward Brett is an experienced CEO and Senior Executive, and is currently an Adjunct Professor with the Graduate School of Management, QUT, where he teaches leadership and entrepreneurialism. Brett is keenly interested in the growing application of mindfulness in work settings, and participates in the research community looking at the topic..
