Packer Ticket Winner Larry Richardson Visits

Ella Burdick Oil Portrait Restored

Thanks to Carrie Jacob Bond Questers and Fred Henry`80

The before photo of Ella show visible hole in elbow and

missing paint. Not visible are stretcher creases, mold and

an apparent adhesive mark on her lip (most likely a mus-

tache applied at some time). The hand carved frame was

also restored. (above)

Larry Richardson `58 made the high bidfor the Packer tickets

at $1275. He planned a vacation from his home in California

around the event. He was unable to make the Homecoming

event but visited later that week.

Larry was a member of the Delta Kappa fraternity and is

shown here with a scrapbook with news article headline

“Richardson Elected President.”

Joe Meyer `67 donated many item relating to Sigma Pi

including paddles, certificates, pledge box and scrapbooks. An

exhibit of fraternities and sororities is being planned for Main

Hall in the future.
